- Day 1
Kochi
You'll touch down at Kochi Airport this morning, and your transfer to the hotel takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. After checking in and getting settled, take some time to relax by the backwaters or along the Arabian Sea shore, which is just nearby. The area has a really peaceful feel, especially if you catch the afternoon light. Later this evening around 6 or 7pm, meet up with your travel director and the rest of the group for local appetizers. It's a good chance to get to know everyone before the trip really kicks off and hear what they're excited about.

- Day 2
Periyar
Head out to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park for the day. There's an optional nature walk where a local specialist takes you through the forest trails, and you might see wild elephants, bison, hornbills, and various bird species if you're lucky. After that, you'll watch a Kalarippayattu martial arts performance before returning to your hotel for the evening.

- Day 3
Kumily - Kumarakom
Start your day at Kumily Spice Garden where you'll learn how pepper, ginger, vanilla, and cardamom grow in Kerala's tropical climate. The gardeners walk you through the cultivation techniques and you get to see the plants up close. After spending a couple hours there, head to Kumarakom village on Lake Vembanad's banks. This part of the day focuses on walking through local markets and getting a feel for how people live in the area. You'll see traditional shops, maybe grab lunch at a local spot, and then wander around the village to see daily life unfold along the water.

Kumarakom to Alleppey
If you want to start the morning with yoga, there's an optional session available before breakfast. After that, you'll board a traditional kettuvallom houseboat and cruise through the backwaters toward Alleppey. The journey takes you past wooden shikara boats and palm-lined shores, so bring your camera for the scenery. Once you reach Alleppey, you'll disembark and then make your way back to Kumarakom for dinner. Spend the evening relaxing after a full day on the water.

Kochi
Spend the day exploring Kochi, the historic port city where Chinese, Arab, and European traders left their mark on the architecture, food, and culture. You'll see Mattancherry Dutch Palace and St. Francis Church, both built by Portuguese traders, and check out the famous Chinese fishing nets at Fort Kochi. There's lunch and a city tour included, then a cooking demonstration with a local family followed by a Be My Guest dinner experience.
