This was an amazing adventure that we waited for 2 1/2 years after canceling twice because of Covid restrictions. As a reference point, we are seasoned travelers who have visited 73 countries. The trip was well worth the wait as we traveled through 6 countries that are full of history, ancient and modern sites, culture, and interesting people. There is a lot of time in the vehicle as expected as you travel through these countries in only 14 days. Each day was full of interesting sites and history. The Balkans have been very important for civilization for thousands of years as they are the crossroad between Asia and Europe and have always been valuable territory that has been fought over for thousands of years. We learned about the accomplishments and conflicts that still exist today. We even saw history in the making in Macedonia and Bulgaria. Albania Explorer is an excellent company that over delivered on their promise of a great trip. Alma was always available to answer all our questions promptly. All of their travel arrangements were perfect with no problems. We could not have had a better guide than Seimer who shared an enormous amount of information at every stop. He even surprised us with some excellent unplanned stops. We now consider him our friend. We hope to have the opportunity to travel with Albania Explorer and Seimer again some day.Show more

- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Albania Explorer DMC. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Albania Explorer DMC will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Albania Explorer DMC" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
