  We wish we had seen Jonah's comments (April 2023) before we booked. We agree with almost every word. We did not have to pay local guides (2 of whom were very good and excellent respectively) but were asked to pay for our hotel rooms at the first two places we stayed. Imagine the embarrassment of being 'held' at reception until it was sorted out. Of the nine hotels listed on the itinerary (which we had checked out and were happy with) we stayed at only two. The others were of a much lower standard, rates being in some cases, half those of the listed hotels. Until we contacted Hemender Singh directly, we were not booked on an overnight houseboat in Kerala, rather a local hotel with a day trip on the backwaters. We were assured the other hotels were 'not available' as there was a big conference taking place (across all Tamil Nadu?) but a quick internet search showed this to be untrue, rooms in the stated hotels were available. We did not even stay in Kanchipuram (Pudacherry was chosen instead) and the hotel chosen for Mahabalipuram was in fact on the outskirts of Chennai district which added an hour to that day's visits to return there and therefore an extra hour's travel the next day to get on our way. We were assured we had been booked into superior rooms at each alternative hotel. This was not true either. The hotel in Madurai was particularly challenging. The room was small, very basic and lacked a proper window. We were advised not to walk out from the hotel except for the street round the corner, selling electrical goods and then not to take any valuables or bags with us. The hotel in Thanjavur had no dining room and we had to go outside the hotel to the nearest place, an Indian style fast food restaurant. The car used was an older, basic model and the driver slept in it each night, not having an overnight allowance from TravelCon. The upside is, he was a good and safe driver. We had trouble gaining information from him as his English was not up to it. We have details, photographs, and copies of correspondence with Hemender Singh if needed. Please do not book with this company. Tour Radar, please consider that your relationship with this company damages your brand image.Show more

  When it comes to South India, Tamil Nadu and Kerala top the list. And, this 11 day dreamy tour from Chennai to these two states is the perfect way to explore the best of both the states. The tour starts with a visit to the splendid Mahabalipuram temple, which is a world heritage site and is known for its rock-cut architecture. After that, we got to explore the magnificent Meenakshi temple in Madurai, and the beautiful Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram. We also had the opportunity to witness some of the breathtaking hill stations such as Ooty and Munnar. The beauty of Ooty was mesmerising and the tea plantations of Munnar were a treat to the eyes. We also enjoyed the famous boat ride on the backwaters of Alleppey, which was serene and peaceful. The food was also delicious and the service provided by the tour operator was excellent. All our needs were taken care of and we got to enjoy the tour without any hassle. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the best of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.Show more

  When We Deside the tour of 11 day Dreamy Tamilnadu and Kerala Tour from Chennai and it was an incredible experience! The tour was all inclusive, which meant that all the accommodation, meals and transportation were taken care of. We got to visit some of the most beautiful and iconic sites in Tamilnadu and Kerala. We visited the majestic temples of Kanchipuram and Kanyakumari, the stunning backwaters of Alleppey, the breathtaking hill stations of Kodaikanal and Munnar, the picturesque beaches of Varkala and Marari, and the lush green tea plantations of Munnar. We also got to experience the local culture and cuisine with visits to the markets and restaurants. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly, always ensuring that we had a safe and enjoyable experience. Overall, this was a wonderful tour that allowed us to explore the best of Tamilnadu and Kerala in a short time. Highly recommended!Show more

The entire trip was carefully planned and included stops in some of the most beautiful places in both TamilNadu and Kerala. We visited places like Madurai, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Kovalam, Munnar, Alleppey, and many more. Every stop was filled with interesting sights and stories, making it an unforgettable experience. The tour package was all-inclusive, including the hotel stay and all meals, so there were no worries about having to worry about the budget. The tour included everything from accommodation, meals, and transportation to sightseeing. The hotels were very comfortable and the food was delicious. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He was very helpful in providing us with detailed information about the various places we visited. We visited some of the most beautiful places in both states and had a wonderful time exploring them.   I had the pleasure of taking the 11 Days Dreamy Tamilnadu and Kerala Tour from Chennai and I must say that it was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. The tour took us to some of the most beautiful cities and towns of Tamilnadu and Kerala, including Chennai, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Munnar. Every place had something unique and special to offer. In Chennai, we visited the famous temples like Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Parthasarathy Temple, and Kalikambal Temple. Each temple had its own historical significance and beauty. The beauty of Kanyakumari was breathtaking and we had the opportunity to witness the beautiful sunrise and sunset. In Madurai, we visited the famous Meenakshi Temple and Thirumalai Naikar Palace. The temple was magnificent and the palace was stunning. Thekkady was a great place to explore the wildlife and the Periyar National Park was amazing. The backwaters of Alleppey were beautiful and we had the opportunity to explore the local village life. In Munnar, the tea gardens were a sight to behold and the tea factory tour was informative and interesting. Overall, this tour was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the beauty of Tamilnadu and Kerala.
