Tomorrow you will be going to visit the Giza Pyramids and The Egyptian Museum. You are free to exchange the Museum with the Grand Egyptian Museum instead. You can book them from 8:30 am and this will give you access to the GEM for the rest of the day at any time

Is this 14-days Egypt Highlights still available? I also noticed your itinerary for Days 3 & 4 about the Nile Cruise and Luxor are exactly the same. Why is that? Is it possible for your company to book us an extra day in the hotel after the tour ends?

On both days you will visit both East and West banks in Luxor. Post - tour extra night USD$ 85 and you don't have to pay it now, you can pay it when you are here because the order of day in the itinerary can change according to the sailing date of the Nile cruise.

We would like to arrange a private tour for our family group ranging from 85 to 22 years old. We are 11 adults in total, and will need 6 double bedrooms. One of our party gets very water sick so we don't want a Nile cruise, although we do want to see all the sights! We were trying to work out how to include Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, St Catherine's and one or two days on the Red Sea (Hurghada or Sharm for example). What would you recommend?

The tour guide in Cairo for 5 days is excellent. His name is Amr, very pay attention to me especially. I have a hard time to walk long distance, he always hold my arm. Has deep knowledge in Egypt history, very funny person. The driver name Hamdy : he is super excellent, very a good driver, give us information also about Egyptian people, culture, food, tourism places also. Communication deficiency: (1) Ancient Egypt Tour did not bill me for the domestic flight. When we were picked up at Cairo Airport and driving to the hotel, got a phone call from Dina, the tour guide for Cairo, that we did not pay the domestic flight and had to pay in Egyptian currency along with the one-night pre-tour stay at hotel and the option for Nile River Dinner Cruise. (2) I was told by email from Salwa, the operator that we can discuss various options when we arrive at Cairo and select. Dina was not aware of it. Eventually she made arrangement to pay all of them by credit card at a third party hotel, paying additional 3% credit card fee. (3) The operator did not send me e-tickets for the domestic flight from Cairo to Aswan and from Luxor to Cairo. It was not until 2 days prior to fly to Aswan that Dina told us that the departure time is 11:20PM and asked if we would like to take some option tours. I found out that there was earlier flight. Had to convince Salwa that if we take 11:20PM flight, we would have arrived at Aswan at 12:40AM following day, and it would have not until 2AM to check in the hotel. She was finally changed to the earlier flight when I told her to pay the difference in the airfare. (4) The tour guide at Aswan told us that trip to Abu Simbel started at 4:00AM. It was surprise as nowhere in the brochure or communication stated it. (5) The whole trip turned out to be private tour just for us. Communication with the operator was only through TourRadar website and I missed several important information, including our itinerary, which was changed from the brochure. Mohammed, tour guide at Aswan & Luxor was excellent. He was passionate and very functional, communicating with us through WhatsApp detailing following day schedule. Haadir, tour guide at Alexadria was OK. Abdu, the driver at Cario and Alexandria was fantastic, very caring and functional. The problem was Dina, tour guide at Cairo. She did not give us detail time schedule unlike Mohammed, showed up 20 min late one time, was on the phone with her daughter long not paying much attention to us, did not give us a warning to get into a tunnel at the Bent Pyramid, which was very narrow and long and deep that somebody like me who has claustrophobia would have problem. I went in the tunnel 1/3 and had breathing issue and so had to come back up. Although our hotel was in Cairo downtown area, but seemed to be the ghetto area garbage was everywhere and homeless people around. Hotels at Alexandria was good, hotels at Aswan and Luxor were nice. One excellent thing was Ancient Egypt Tour was very flexible about options. If I knew it was going to be a private tour, I would have been prepared better.Show more

Egypt! What a wonderful trip I had with Ancient Egypt Tours. Mr Wallid Saad was my tour guide. Try and get him for your trip to Cairo, and Ahmed as my driver. They had so much knowledge. From pickup at airport to hotels to museums everything was a breeze. Accommodations were great. It was an unbelievable trip of a lifetime; and I don't think it would have been as good with anybody but Ancient Egyptian Tours! Then I traveled south to Lexor and my tour guide was also excellent. Nile cruise was perfect My stateroom was excellent. The people of Egypt are very friendly and food was good. It was a dream come true and they made my trip seamless. Don't forget to take the Hot Air Balloon ride!Show more

15 Days of Awesomeness! I went on the 15 Day Highlights of Egypt with Ancient Egypt Tours through Tour Radar. I didn't really know what to expect and hope to make it easier for others to decide by explaining how it works. Its not a traditional tour with a small group staying together moved along by a staff member who stays with you the whole time. Rather, you move on your own facilitated by the drivers and guides at each location at the direction of the Ancient Egypt Tours staff, who you can reach via email, text, or phone (at the hotel where you get wifi). Its not a luxury tour with lots pampering and staff members everywhere, that should be obvious from the price tag, yet some reviewers seem to have been expecting that. There is a slight adjustment period at first, but if you don't panic or have unrealistic expectations everything will be fine! Salwa and her staff are there to insure you have a good time. Once you get going, you will be moved along from one incredible sight to another, as Egypt has a huge number of magnificent relics, museums, and monuments. There is so much to see in Egypt that I suggest the longer tours (15 days is good) if you have time. You may be transported by shuttles, taxis, planes, or best of all, river cruises down the Nile! All meals are provided for and the food is great, especially the many buffets. The tour operator is of course not your main concern, its only there to facilitate your trip. Yet that is what these reviews are for, to make sure you enjoy your trip. I would highly recommend Ancient Egypt Tours (and Tour Radar), just understand what it is, and what it is not!Show more

Very disappointed with TourRadar and Ancient Egypt Tours for their misleading advertising and tour itinerary details and their condescending attitude and their offishness towards us and the manner in which they justify themselves; cannot be trusted! No GOLD STAR operators in this tour! Prime misleading misinformation is as follows: Day 10: Breakfast. Departure to visit Abu Simbel. Embark the 5 star Egypt Nile cruise before lunch. Day 11: Aswan. Sailing towards Kom Ombo by the time of lunch on board the cruise and arrival in the evening. Day 12: Aswan-Edfu-Luxor. Arrival to Edfu and reach the temple by horse carriages. Sail to Luxor. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board & Galabya party. Day 13: Luxor. Breakfast onboard then disembark and visit Valley of the Kings. This cruise was our main reason for choosing the 15 day Highlights of Egypt Tour. We were eagerly looking forward to cruising the Nile river. We didn't get our cruise from Aswan to Luxor! No horse carriages! Never had breakfast onboard! As such, we should receive a refund!!!!Show more

I was sorry to find Cairo and other cities so dirty. I know they don’t like to pay taxes as so many buildings are unfinished because if they are then taxes are due, but what do taxes pay for, garbage management, etc. Cruising on the Nile was nice but they put me in the bottom room and I am 80 and it was 3 flights to get to the top outdoor deck. My breakfasts were a disapointment in Cairo as I wasn’t given a choice. Everybody wanted a tip even the folks helping the handicapped at the airport which isn’t the case in Toronto. The Egyptians should be very thankful for their ancestors or they would have nothing to offer the tourists. I would recommend nothing longer than a 4 day stay to see the wonderful new museum and a quick visit to Alexandria or spend your time on a NICE boat on the Nile. Ours was OK but there were others a lot nicer. Laundry was hanging from almost all the balconies and the air is very dirty. Not a pretty sight. Any drives out of the cities are not interesting as it is dessert. Coming from Canada I sure missed the colour green. There are very few parks and one I went to had the paths closed. January was a good time to visit as the temperature was comfortable and you needed a jacket.Show more

Is this 14-days Egypt Highlights still available? I also noticed your itinerary for Days 3 & 4 about the Nile Cruise and Luxor are exactly the same. Why is that? Is it possible for your company to book us an extra day in the hotel after the tour ends?

  We were informed by others who already visited Egypt that all we needed was to have a valid and used US tourist visa for example in order to avail of the Visa On Arrival in Egypt.

We would like to arrange a private tour for our family group ranging from 85 to 22 years old. We are 11 adults in total, and will need 6 double bedrooms. One of our party gets very water sick so we don't want a Nile cruise, although we do want to see all the sights! We were trying to work out how to include Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, St Catherine's and one or two days on the Red Sea (Hurghada or Sharm for example). What would you recommend?

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 26th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Ancient Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Ancient Egypt Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Ancient Egypt Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
