  ⭐ Tour Review - Ancient Egypt Tour. It’s important to give an honest review to help future travelers make informed decisions. Egypt—and especially the pyramids—was a must-visit destination for me, and I’m glad I booked this tour. All the guides and the driver were super friendly and helpful. For me, having such kind and helpful staff was a big bonus. One moment that stood out: when it was time to send me off to the airport, the driver actually got out of the car to make sure I was at the correct terminal before leaving. That kind of attention shows how much they care about avoiding any miscommunication. Awesome! As with most tours, minor issues did occur, but the guides handled them professionally. Overall, I had a good experience. Would I travel with this Egypt tour operator again? Yes. ⭐ TourRadar Review – Caution Advised (1 Star) This rating is for TourRadar as a booking platform, not the tour itself. TourRadar acts as a middleman between travelers and local operators. When everything goes well, it’s fine. But if something goes wrong, you’re mostly left to deal with it on your own. I’ve completed four tours through TourRadar. Three were okay. But my Sri Lanka tour with Mango Vacations was a disaster. For weeks, the operator didn’t respond to my questions about pickup arrangements. Then, just one week before departure, they finally replied—saying the tour couldn’t go ahead. They offered a last-minute change to the itinerary or cancellation. At that point, I had already booked non-refundable flights. It felt like a textbook bait-and-switch tactic—intentional or not. Mango Vacations advertises 17 different tours as having daily departures, which raises serious doubts about whether they even have the capacity to deliver what they promise. If you’re a non-EU traveler or based in a country where TourRadar has no local presence, you have little to no consumer protection. In such cases, it might be better to have a local travel agent contact the tour operator directly—so you’re protected under your local consumer rights if something unfair happens. Booking through TourRadar is a gamble. If it works, great. But if it doesn’t, TourRadar won’t take responsibility—they’ll expect you to deal directly with the operator, even if the problem was avoidable or systemic.Show more

  Itinerary, guide and transportation didn’t reflect the descriptions of the tour. The worst is transportation, it says comfortable with A/C. The car is not suitable, the left side doesn’t open from the outside, the right side, seatbelt not working and the window knob is broken. Alexandra trip with fuel scent all day. The first guide was kind of rough, in rush mode and tried to get my card for payments but I said I will do it on my own. He even let me paid for the parking fee in the Pyramids, talking to the cashier on their language. I asked him what is 80 egyptian pounds and said its parking. It is kind of intimidating and rude they constantly talking egyptian to themselves. I know it’s not a lot but I have been asked so many times with a 20 or 30 in some other parking. There is no official orientation for the tour at the start. The hotel was changed at the pick up date., as the driver told me different hotel. The hotel and breakfast was great but the reception was not aware of us at the check in. Salwa is fine but tour itself is not. There should be a consistent person or guide that informs us for the updates.No efforts done if the itinerary is closed,, guides and others are only interested in trying to get you money or the tips. I am not surprised if no one booked the tour as we are the only one.,although we signed up for the group tour. We are dissatisfied and disappointed to this tour. Thank you though.Show more

  Cairo was good organised, the Driver and touristguide very helpfull, in time, frendly we are safisfied with they Work, with our tritment. Alexandria Trip was great disapointment. Bad Präparation. We saw three sights and that was all. All together about 3 to 4 hours.The driving time was longer. Nö Break, No Rest inbetween, any realy experience with the town. You can Not oder Trip to Alexandria with that what we experienced. Your priority should BE to satisfied Tourist.Show more

  The Tour Company organized everything very well. We went for an upgrade on the accomodation to 5* and the chosen hotel was very good. Our Cairo guide, Essam was so good. He explained a lot of history in great detail and was also very patient with some personal requests that we had. Just one negative experience with the driver that took us to Alexandria and back: he didn't know the road out of Cairo and once we got to Alexandria he didn't know how to get to the first site. He had to stop continuosly to ask for directions. I even offered for him to use my Google Maps but he declined. Took us 4 hrs to get to Alexandria and then 3.5hrs back as he lost his way back to Cairo. Very embarasing. Apart from this, the trip was a lot of fun!!Show more
