All transfers and guides were on time and professional. Rose, our guide in Cappadocia was outstanding but all guides were very good, patient, informative and interesting. The tour itself was well passed and allowed us to visit some sensational sites in Turkey. It was a terrific tour. The support from the personal tour contact was very good and quick. We really liked the hotels that were part of the tour. They were small authentic, clean comfortable and welcoming. And, all were in very good locations. There were a couple of minor problems. The ‘ included’ breakfasts, on four occasions, were not available due to early morning departures. I was later told I could have asked for a breakfast box. Bit late, and I had asked whether an early breakfast was available at two hotels, only to be told no. This normally wouldn’t matter but there was sometimes no opportunity to eat until mid to late afternoon. The communication with the tour contact was very good. It was via WhatsApp. Unfortunately I wasn’t told that the communication was via WhatsApp until after I followed up because I had not received some important information about a pick up. All previous information was via email. So there was, initially, a communication breakdown. Finally the luggage limit on all flights was 15kg. Unfortunately, we only learnt this weeks after we had left home and we were already overseas. This information should be provided much earlier so that we could have packed less. All these criticisms are minor and only intended to improve things for others. I stress that we had a great time and enjoyed the tour very much.
