Itinerary

Day 1
Sacred Valley to Perolniyoc Waterfall and Racaypata
Your hotel pickup starts at 8:00 a.m. for the drive through the Sacred Valley, taking about 1.5 hours to reach Socma. From there you'll trek to Perolniyoc Waterfall sitting at 3,460 meters, surrounded by thick vegetation and quiet enough to catch your breath and take some photos. The hike continues upward to the Racaypata Inca Site at 3,550 meters, where your guide walks you through the history of this structure built from stone and mud. After spending time at the archaeological site, you'll head back down to Socma and make the return drive to Cusco, finishing your day with the landscape you crossed that morning now behind you.

We spent 4 days with our guide Willy on the jungle trek, just my sister and myself. This trek is perfect for those looking for a tour that includes a variety of activities: we rafted the rapids of the Rio Sagrado, biked and zip-lined, but still hiked for 8 to 4 hours a day. This tour is ideal for those who don't particularly want to climb in altitude. Our guide adapted perfectly to our needs, and gave us plenty of insight into the Inca way of life and culture along the way. As for Machu Picchu, he gave us all the knowledge we needed to understand the site. We also chose to climb the Huayana Picchu, a small summit next door, which is well worth the detour. In conclusion, I recommend this experience and I can only recommend Willy, thank you again.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Inkayni Peru Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Inkayni Peru Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
