This was our 5th trip to this beautiful country, previously we visited EBC, Upper Dolpa, Annapurna Circuit and many more. This year was special as my birthday was on the day we summit Mera Peak on 2nd October. It was like a dream come true to celebrate my birthday in camp. Pre-trip organisation, acclimatisation's planning as well as physical preparation was remarkable. Guides and porters have been attentive and caring all the way, helping the team to successfully summit Mera peak. It was a great experience! Huge thanks to Ram and all the team of Uma Holidays Travels and Tours bhaving successfully climb in Mera Peak 6454m. Excellent well organized climb and whole trip were FANTASTIC!!! The landscapes were amazing with changing with lot of villages, forest, river and also snowy passes. The guide Aapa Sherpa looked after us well and always made sure we had comfortable trip as much around it. They were experienced, knowledgeable and fun. Another good point is good value for money compare to other trekking agencies. Having a reasonable acclimatization programme so we climbed in Mera peak without any health issue. But having weather was not always the best but our guide was well equipped to deal with snowy condition.!Show more

First, I am not a big fan of Trip Advisor usually but the service I received was so good thought I would make an exception. I attempted Mera Peak with my friend using Uma Holidays Travels and Tours in October. Before arriving kathmandu, Ram Barakoti's communication was great prior to the trekking. Throughout the trip all members of the Nepal guide Treks team were extremely helpful and friendly. We were kept informed of plans and next day what to do and what to do not. We had an awesome trek with epic terrain and snow at Mera peak. We think Mera peak is difficult what we first imagine but not quite hard what after we did it successful to reach top at Mera. Thanks to having excellent guide Sona and porter also help us. See you next time Nepal having excellent service from Uma Holidays Travels and Tours, we will meet another time visit to Nepal.Show more

Mera Peak & Island Peak Climb Many thanks to Sherpa Expedition and Trekking for organising a tailor made trip for climbing Mera Peak & Island Peak within 18 days. Ram, the owner, has been fantastic in responding to all of my enquirers and request. Without his help, patience and flexibility, this trip will not be possible to complete in such a short time. Price of the package was fair, choice of lodges and food were good during the trip. Dorji, the guide, was very experienced, professional and helpful. Being a 3 times Everest summiteer and completed a lot of expeditions, Dorji was sharing his knowledge and experience during the trip which gives me better understanding about mountaineering. Dorji worked beyond what he needed to help me prepare for the climb. Extra help, encouragement and care was given by Dorji during the Island Peak climb. Without it, I might not be able to reach the summit of Island Peak. Sonam, the young porter, greeted me with smile every morning. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the trip and I look forward to joining another peak climbing trip that organised by Uma Holidays Travels and Tours in future.Show more

I recently went to the Mera Peak with Uma Holidays Travels and Tours and I am happy very happy about the choice. Mr. Rm talks about the pre-trip organization, acclimatization's planning and physical fitness for us. From the start my Sherpa guide Ang Dawa Sherpa was amazing, he supported every steps whole 15 days, he knows the everything in this region and well respected among the local Sherpa peoples. We hit the bad weather where we at Khare, but next couple of days weather change slowly. So, we wait for perfect weather condition to moved Basecamp then High camp. Next day, We climbed Mera Peak successfully. View from the top was beautiful and mesmerizing. I totally recommend this company for peak climbing. Especially thanks to Ang Dawa and Mr. Ram, perfectly organized. I can't wait for next adventure in Nepal.Show more

- For any tour departing before April 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Sherpa Expedition Teams. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
