I was very disappointed with the lack of attention to details by the operator of the tour. A few examples: I was not...
I was very disappointed with the lack of attention to details by the operator of the tour. A few examples: I was not informed that I needed to apply for a visa to India. As a result, I was forced to change my flight to India, spent an additional night at the airport in Amman, Jordan, paid penalty for changing the flight, also paid an additional amount for the ticket, paid a company that expedited the receipt of the visa, and on, and on… In addition, I had to pay for the room in New Delhi which I didn’t use since I was delayed in Jordan. All of this resulted in additional expenses of approximately $750!!! Another example: I was never informed that upon return to India from Bhutan I had to have an arrival form which had to be obtained online in advance. As a result, I spent almost an hour with the immigration officer finding the form and filling out all kinds of details…Meanwhile, my driver had been waiting for me outside not knowing why I was not there. When I finally finished with the immigration official, I could not find my baggage, and that involved anxiety plus additional wasted time. Another example: last night I waited for the driver who had to bring me to the airport for 45 minutes! I finally called Amit the operator asking him to find out what had happened. In my opinion, a client should not be put in a situation like that! And what if I missed my flight because of this? I have other examples but this gives you an idea of how unprofessional this operator is.Show more
