  When considering Morocco, I did research and requested quotes from different travel companies. I settled on Tilila Travel based on the itinerary and price. I travel private/solo so I am used to the additional cost but Mohamed made sure to advise me of the solo cost, which I appreciated. But I got much more than just a good itinerary and reasonable price. The service and communication from Mohamed and my driver, Yassin, was some of the best of the tour companies I have used. Mohamed was very responsive before and and checked on me during my trip. Yassin was a great, personable, knowledgeable and experienced driver. When my luggage was lost on arrival in Marrakech, he helped me retrieve it. I enjoyed the riads/hotels and their locations. The vehicle was a nice vehicle, very comfortable. The guides chosen for the two cities were knowledgeable and the tours were interesting. Tilila is professional, courteous and responsive. You never know when you're trying to pick a tour company based on online reviews. I found what was written in the reviews I read prior to my trip to be true of the service of Tilila. Mohamed does a great job with this company. Morocco is a beautiful and fascinating country. If you are on the fence about traveling here, do it and use Tilila!Show more

Every stop offered another very interesting and beautiful experience (Morocco is such a beautiful country, that you couldn't even anticipate all of the beauty before experiencing by yourself). There were so many wonderful impressions on all the senses: imagine the smell of jasmine and incense, the taste of lemon confit, fresh barley bread, wonderful cookies, the ethereal beauty of the various landscapes (desert areas, mountain ranges, green fields, the Atlantic Ocean, the elegant cities, the lively villages and small towns, mysterious souks …) in bright sunlight, the beauties of Gnawa music etc. etc. Our driver, Youssef, made us feel safe and comfortable in any place of the beautiful country. The riads and hotels, we stayed in, were very well chosen as were the restaurants we stopped in for lunch and the places we had dinner together! Another advantage: Tilila offers the tour in a very small group which leads to harmony and joy, because you can easily make a common decision when there are just a few people to debate on it.Show more

  Our time in Morocco was enjoyable and rewarding thanks to the staff at Tilila travel. It is a big country - about the size of California - so expect to spend a lot of time in the car getting to the places you want to see. It is different than traveling in the United States or Europe and the there might be somethings that surprise you (and hopefully delight and teach you). The Moroccan people are warm and friendly, their culture is deep and rich. Take some time to read up before you go. Our trip coordinator, Mohammed, is an expert at logistics and followed up with us throughout the trip to make things were going smoothly. (Our trip included two private guide days - one in Marrackech and the other in Fes) . We were very fortunate to have Rashid as our driver. He grew up in the desert and shared with us his love and hopes for his country. He met and surpassed all our expectations and accommodated our every wish. He was an excellent driver and an even better ambassador for his country.Show more

  I did not know what to expect in Morocco; however, this trip exceeded any expectations I might have had. This is a beautiful country with so many unexpected geographic venues. Of course, w expected a desert, and it did not disappoint. The day we spent here was one of the highlights of the trip. Seeing then then there was the sunset and sunrise over the amber dunes was magnificent. However, in addition to the desert, I was surprised by the amount of greenery -- on the mountains, in the valleys and generally throughout the country. The mountains were surprisingly high, even retaining some of the snow at the top! Driving through a lower area, reminiscent of the red lands A Mohamed was especially accommodating of some specific requests I had about the desert accommodation and provided them at no extra charge. When I discovered that I was having some difficulty with climbing the stairs at some of the riads due to a knee injury, he called ahead to request rooms on a lower floor. he was very attentive to our needs. Our driver, Mustapha was superb. He was an extremely careful and skilled driver and knew many places to stop for us to maximize the views and experience the panorama of this beautiful country. In addition, he was more than a driver. He had extensive knowledge of each area we visited and was able to guide us and share many insights about the local culture.
