We can provide 3-star hotel accommodation for this tour on a Half Board (HB) basic meal plan. We always select comfortable and well-maintained hotels to ensure a pleasant stay throughout the journey. If you prefer 4-star or above accommodation, we would be happy to arrange an upgrade with an additional supplement cost.

We are looking at going next year in June, is this a good time to visit to see the animals? Do you have links to the accommodation. Are the safaris included as it appears some are but then reviews say they are not. Can you make it more clear what is included and what is extra on each day and the cost of the extras. I will be travelling with my parents what is the camping like do you have links.

June is actually a very good time for wildlife safaris in Sri Lanka. During the dry season, animals often gather around water sources, which increases the chances of seeing wildlife such as elephants, leopards, crocodiles, deer, and many bird species. Yes, safari jeep drives are included in the itinerary on the days mentioned. Each safari normally lasts about 3–4 hours, Full day safari – 12 hours – 02 hours resting time in the jungle and is conducted with a professional driver/guide in a private 4x4 jeep. Some parks included in our tours may be: wilpatthuwa ,Yala National Park – famous for leopards Udawalawe National Park – excellent for elephants Minneriya / Kaudulla National Park – known for large elephant gatherings I will send you a clear day-by-day itinerary showing: What is included What is optional The approximate cost of extra activities The tents are comfortable safari tents with beds, linen, and private facilities. Meals are prepared at the campsite. It is a safe and unique way to experience nature near the national park.

Elli has loved Elephants since she was small and this was her "Dream Trip". We were NOT disappointed! The tour is ALL it says it is and SO much more. The island of Sri Lanka is magical! This country is very diverse in heritage, culture, geography, plant and animal life ... each day was an exciting new adventure! The people of Sri Lanka are so kind and hospitable, they made our trip personal. Our guide, Chandonna was extremely knowledgeable about everything and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was good. We were on a private tour with Chandonna, he always made sure we felt safe. The accommodations were very good with the exception of one hotel, but two other hotels were exceptional!   If camping do you see more animals? how long do you camp for, its sound a like our version of glamping which will be fine. How much extra is the 4 star? My parent's are pretty fit and healthy, they just wont climb or do any hikes but there happy to relax if there is something they cant do. We are planning June 2027, sorry i like to plan way ahead. Are the tea plantations still ok in June?

  The camping experience is similar to glamping, with comfortable tents and proper beds. Normally it is for one night near the national park, allowing an early morning safari.
  
  We can also arrange 4-star hotel options, and I will include the price difference when I send the full itinerary.
  
  Traveling with your parents will be perfectly fine. Most activities are relaxed, and if there are any activities they prefer not to do, they can simply relax at the hotel.
  
  The tea plantations in the hill country are beautiful in June, so you will still be able to enjoy visiting them.
