Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and settle into your hotel by 2:00 PM. This evening, your guide picks you up for a street food walking tour through the Old Quarter. You'll taste local specialties like pho, bánh mì, spring rolls, and egg coffee as you walk through various alleyways and stop at different restaurants. The tour wraps up at Hoan Kiem Lake or another convenient spot, then you head back to your hotel.

Hanoi to Cat Ba Island
After breakfast, you'll check out and leave Hanoi around 7:00-7:30 AM by shuttle bus headed toward Lan Ha Bay, with stops along the way for refreshments. By noon you'll reach Cat Ba island, check into your accommodation, and grab lunch. In the afternoon, a motorbike takes you through Cat Ba National Park to see the landscapes and views. You'll then explore Trung Trang cave, which uses special limited lighting to protect the ecosystem and the bats, birds, insects, and reptiles living inside.

- Day 3
Lan Ha Bay Cruise
After hotel breakfast, you'll have free time to swim at the beach or walk around Cat Ba town. Around noon, you'll head by bus to Beo Harbor and take a tender boat to the Lan Ha cruise. Check in to your cabin, go through the safety briefing, and enjoy welcome drinks. Lunch features fresh seafood as the cruise moves between islands. You'll kayak through Dark and Bright caves to see the karst formations, then swim and dive from the boat. Back on board, there's a cooking class where you'll make fresh spring rolls before dinner. Later, you can join optional squid fishing or karaoke, and relax with complimentary local beer on the sundeck during happy hour.

- Day 4
Lan Ha Bay to Hanoi
You'll wake at 6:00 AM to watch sunrise over the bay islands, depending on weather. Breakfast is served in a quiet bay setting. After eating, you'll bike 5 km to Viet Hai Village, a small settlement in the jungles below tall mountains in Cat Ba National Park. By 9:30 AM you're back at the boat for a shower and checkout. Lunch is fresh seafood while the cruise sails past the islands. You disembark at Beo Harbor around noon and take the bus back to Hanoi, arriving around 4:00 PM.
