Is there a single supplement for this tour and a single room?

This trip is designed for an 18–30s travel style, which means the overall experience is more youth-focused. The accommodation is fairly simple and includes basic hotels (13 nights, twin-share), a desert camp (1 night, multi-share), and a surf house (2 nights, multi-share). A single supplement can be requested, subject to availability, however please be aware that single occupancy is not available on nights 11, 14, and 15 due to the style of accommodation used on those dates.

I noticed that in the desert there is 1 night at auberge dunes camp (is that sleeping in the tents?) and the next night is Auberge Dunes Dor (is that sleeping in the hotel by the desert?)

On this tour, you are correct on day 9 you will have a desert camping experience followed by a hotel the next night. Just to note, this trip style is part of our 18-30's somethings, meaning the accommodation is basic, and the age limit is 18 - 39 years of age to participate in this tour.

Could you kindly let me know: What is the typical age range of participants? I'm particularly hoping for a group of younger travellers (ideally under 40). How many people have already booked this trip and Hhw big are the groups? I do not know why I can't put as my preferences the tour starting on the 1st, the 3rd or the 6th of August...but these days would work better for me. Also, form what I understand from the itinerary, there will be no guides for the cities and the places we will visit no? the cities we will have to explore them by our won?

This tour is an 18-thirtysomethings tour, which has an age requirement of 18-39, because of that, everyone on the tour will be between 18 and 39. For August 2025, the only departure available is August 10, 2025 with 3 spots left. The maximum allowance on this tour is 14 travellers. For August 10th departure, we have a total of 11 people booked. Born between mid 1980s to 2000s. In regards to guided tours, there are some guided tours with a guide on this trip (some are included and some are optional - can be paid for on tour) - Fès Medina Guided Tour - optional - to be paid for on tour, Dades Gorge Visit - included, Marrakech Medina Guided Tour. There are some orientation walks and tours done with the CEO (tour leader) but no guide, the CEO is not a certified guide but the CEO is a local and will be very knowledgeable about the place and will provide insights about the area.

Is it OK to join this tour if we are over 39 years

We do get asked this a lot and unfortunately, we have to be really strict about it. If we were more lenient on this, we would be false advertising and may lead to customer dissatisfaction or miss-selling of our product. It is not our intention to exclude people, it is simply that we have a specific product which targets that age group and traveller type. To align with our 18 to 30 something campaign, it is necessary to have an upper age limit with no exceptions to keep our promise to our customers. You can book onto our Classic, Active, National Geographic Journey's, Marine tours as these have no upper age limit.

I recently completed the Morocco Adventure: Culture & Colour tour and I have to say, it was one of the most amazing tours I have been on. A huge part of what made this trip so special was the CEO, Mustafa Ait Aissa. He was an incredible tour guide throughout the journey — knowledgeable, professional, approachable, and always willing to help every member of the group. His passion for his home country really came through in the way he shared the country’s culture, history, and local insights, which added so much value to the experience. We even paid to view a national football match take place in Marrakech. Everything throughout the tour was well organised, comfortable, and well selected for the style of trip. The destinations themselves were outstanding, especially the beautiful coastal stops and the unforgettable edge of the Sahara Desert. Every place we visited offered something unique, and the activities at each destination were clearly well thought through. From exploring vibrant towns to experiencing the desert landscape, it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Overall, this tour exceeded expectations and delivered an amazing balance of culture, scenery, adventure, and great group travel. A wonderful way to travel! Great meeting people from all over the world, tons of variety in activities and places to explore, and none of the stress of figuring out transportation and accommodation. The local guides were amazing at sharing stories and lots of information about each area we visited. It was very meaningful to have guides who lived and grew up in the different places we stayed in. Great balance of culture, history, and fun activities like surfing and hiking. I loved the couple of meals in local family homes. The food was incredible and it was a great experience to meet them :) Thanks for everything, I would love to do another tour!Show more
