  Can we do the Kayak rather than the walk to the volcano rim?

    You can kayak in volcanic coastal areas, such as Tintoreras Islet in Isabela or near lava tunnels in Santa Cruz. Kayaking allows you to navigate along coastlines formed by lava.

    The GL5 programme includes both tours, Tintoreras and Volcano, but if you do not wish to do the Volcano tour, you could go kayaking in the bay or we could skip that day and remove it from the programme.

    Would removing the Volcano Rim mean we finish a day earlier and leave Baltra on 24th August? If removed from the program would that impact the price?

    There is the option of having that day off, in which case the price would be $2120 per person. You can do other activities on your own that day and rest, and finish on 24 August as planned.

    If we skip the day for the volcano tour would that mean we fly out on the 23rd August? If yes what would be the price?

    You have two options: 1. If you choose the full itinerary without the volcano tour, the price would be $2,120 per person. You'll have a free day on Isabela. 2. If you'd like to take the itinerary without that day, the price would be $2,095 per person. You would then return on August 23.

  I'm very interested in this tour but the departure date is one day off. I need to leave Galapagos island on August 5 but this tour leaves on August 6, 2023. Can you please find out if your operator can adjust the departure by one day for example leave on July 29, 2023 instead of July 30, 2023.

    Of course, we can adjust and start a day before. I am going to add an additional departure with that date so that you can book it.

  Are all activities listed under the day-by-day description included in the price? Are snorkelling, hikes, access etc included? I do not swim well at all; is snorkelling still possible / recommended or would I be better off not doing it? Do you provide life vests during snorkelling?

    Activities include snorkelling, hikes, transportation and guide. When you go to Isabela or San Cristobal not included the water taxis $1 each, you pay directly. Don't worry if you can't swim, they always have a life jacket and the guide is there to help you with whatever you need. It is very nice to snorkel even if you don't know how to swim.

    I am travelling alone but I would be fine to share a room with another woman; is that possible or do you charge a mandatory single supplement? Could you please confirm that the tours are group tours? How many people on average do you expect in each tour in May?

    The price is in a shared room, but if there is no other person for you to share a room with, I can give you the same price as long as the trip is before June. Activities are always shared, maximum 15 people on daily tours.

    Yes, the program Natural Galapagos start in Baltra and end in Baltra and include the transfer when you arrive the first day until de transfer out the last day

  Is possible to remain on the islands before/after the tour? will there be additional costs I would have to pay to do this (other than hotel), e.g island tax or something similar?

    Flights to and from Galapagos do not include. If you want to stay on the islands before or after the tour, of course it is possible. We can guide you in what to do additionally. Normally the tour ends with the transfer OUT, but if you want to stay longer we can coordinate for that transfer to do it when you want to return. On additional payments there are none. Only your accommodation, food and activities expenses that you want to do outside of the program.
