  Really good trip. Just be aware they don’t contact you until the last minute for pick up. There is also a lot of driving involved (the van does have AC though). Our driver Dozi was really nice and helpful and made the trip fun. Saw some awesome sights and the camel ride was amazing. The desert is really HOT at night though so I recommend getting an AC tent or avoid doing it in August.Show more

While the hotel where you spent the first night wasn't particularly clean, the family who runs it makes you feel at home. The desert experience is amazing, especially sleeping under the stars.   Abdou was a fantastic driver who was happy to answer any questions, and we had a great time on the trip. Yes, there is a lot of driving, but it is warned about in the tour description, so we were prepared. There are also frequent stops. There was an abundance of delicious food. Since we were so full at the end of the day, we started sharing lunches. We paid more for the desert camp, but having access to all of our luggage (which is brought in by car) and a bathroom inside the tent made it worthwhile. We will suggest this to others looking to visit the Sahara while in Marrakesh!Show more
