  What can I say, our 8 day Morocco and Sahara tour perfectly covered all the best bits of Morocco highlighted by the overnight Glamping in the Saraha! This is a must do, camel riding at sunset and plenty of time to sit in the desert taking it all in, unbelievable sight not to be missed, but ensure you upgrade it is well and truly worth it. As it turns out we were the only 2 so it felt like personalised service which was a bonus. Our guide Said was so engaging and knowledgeable about every city and place of history we visited, he was amazing, he made the tour the awesome holiday it turned out to be and without his kindness, humor, and flexibility it would not have been the same, he even sourced a chemist when I needed one! Though there was a lot of driving it resulted in seeing so much more that we expected. We have happily recommended this tour and tour company Morocco Joy Travel as we had no complaints at all, from Said, the accommodation, the inclusions and the points of interest. The Kasbahs and Rihads we stayed were very much in keeping with the Moroccan natural decor and hospitality. This really was a 5 star tour, I'd love to return and see so much more of Morocco with this company. If you travel as a couple, as we did, or in a small group, you can tailor your journey. The tour was a wonderful experience. So much variety and contrast in this wonderful country. Please take at least two weeks to allow yourself a chance to fully appreciate the beauty of the Atlas Mountains, the desert, the beaches, the kaleidoscopic medinas, the food, and most importantly, the people.Show more

Hasan, who was our driver through most of the tour, was a gem of a person. He was very flexible and attentive to our needs and interests. He made sure to help us with any questions we had and provide us with advice. Overall the tour was very well organized. We got exactly what we signed up for. The locations were very diverse and beautiful. In particular this tour would interest anyone who was looking for something of a mix of natural landscapes and historical sights with a strong flavour of local culture. Each place had its own uniqueness which ensured that the tour never felt repetitive. The accommodation was generally pretty good. The hospitality of our hosts and generally the locals cannot be overstated. All in all, I would definitely recommend this tour.Show more

  Essaouira is a hidden gem. Ali came to pick us up at our riad in Marrakech on time at 8.30AM, the couple of stops and the information whilst driving made the trip nice and interesting. The town of Essaouira is very nice, it has a frenetic harborough and we bought a few things whilst visiting the medina. We had an amazing lunch next to the sea in one of the restaurants recommended by Ali and also stopped at an Argan oil cooperative on the way back. Upon arriving to Marrakech, Ali asked us if we were up for visiting an artisan fair that was taking place in Marrakech that week. We stopped for about an hour and half and it was very interesting and fun. This was a nice plus as we weren't expecting it as part of the day trip. By the time we arrived back to our riad it was 9PM circa. Overall it was a great day. Ali is a very kind person and we feel that he really cares that his customer are happy with the service. Also, he speaks perfect fluent english. To top up an already good experience, Ali also offered to take us to the airport on the last day of our holidays (which was 2 days after). Despite we insisted, he didn't want any money for having come to pick us up at 7.45AM to our riad in the centre of Marrakech and driving us to the airport. Certainly, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ali and his services. We did 2 tours with Morocco Joy travel in 10 days and both of them were great experiences.Show more
