- Day 1
Cairo
Your Ancient Egypt Tours representative meets you at Cairo airport and takes you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check-in happens at 14:00, so if your flight gets in early, you can settle in and rest up before things kick off tomorrow.

Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, your personal guide takes you out to Giza Plateau for the day. You'll see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre's pyramid, and Menkaure's pyramid along with their satellite pyramids, then check out the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. There's a chance to grab photos with all three pyramids and the Cairo skyline together. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, and then you head to the Egyptian Museum to walk through thousands of pharaonic artifacts and King Tutankhamun's treasures.

Cairo to El Bahariya Oasis
You leave Cairo at 8:00 AM heading to El Bahariya Oasis, about 385km away (roughly 4 hours by car). Once there, you tour the city and have lunch. Later you visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, the tombs of the nobles, and English Mountain. After that comes a one-hour camel caravan ride. Dinner is included, and there's an optional chance to soak in the hot spring waters. By evening you head back to Cairo for the night.
