Delhi to Agra
After your airport pickup from Delhi, the drive to Agra takes about three to four hours depending on traffic. You'll get settled into your hotel, and then later in the evening, head over to Mehtab Bagh. This garden sits across the river from the Taj Mahal, so you'll catch the monument from the opposite side during sunset. It's a quieter spot than the main entrance area, which makes it nice for your first look at the site.

Agra
Get up early since sunrise at the Taj Mahal is when the light is best and crowds are smaller. After watching the sunrise, you'll head back to your hotel to shower and have breakfast. Then you're off to Agra Fort, a UNESCO site about 2 kilometers northwest of the Taj Mahal where you can see both Hindu and Islamic architecture mixed together. Later, you'll check out Itimad-Ud-Daulah, also called the Baby Taj because of its similar style but smaller scale. You're staying another night in Agra, so there's time to grab dinner and rest up.

Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to Delhi
After breakfast, you'll travel to Fatehpur Sikri, a red stone city built in 1569 as Emperor Akbar's capital. The site was abandoned not too long after he built it, which is why people call it the Ghost City. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site and fairly well-preserved, so you can walk through the palaces, mosques, and courtyards. From there, you'll head back to Delhi for your airport transfer or drop-off at wherever you prefer.
