- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and connect with your driver at the airport for the ride to Saigon Downtown. After checking into your hotel, you can settle in for the evening. If you'd like airport pickup arranged, it's $30 per private car for up to 4 people, paid when you arrive.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
Start with breakfast at the hotel. The day is yours to explore Ho Chi Minh City at your own pace, or you can book an optional full day tour. That tour includes Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, lunch, and the famous Cu Chi Tunnels where you'll spend time underground learning about the Vietnam War.

- Day 3
Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi
After breakfast, you'll head out at 8:00 am toward My Tho in the Mekong Delta, roughly 75 kilometers to the southeast. There you can check out islands known for traditional handicrafts, coconut candy, and bee farms. A boat trip along the Mekong River takes you to Vinh Trang Pagoda with nice scenery along the way. You'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi, where your airport rep picks you up for the hotel transfer.

- Day 4
Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, a minivan or bus picks you up between 8:30 and 9:00 am for the 3.5-hour drive to Halong City. You'll pass through countryside and rice paddies on the way. Then you board an authentic Chinese junk boat to cruise Halong Bay. Fresh seafood lunch is served on board, and you'll visit Amazing Cave and swim in the emerald waters. The boat anchors for the night with dinner and sunset views.

- Day 5
Halong Bay to Hanoi
Get up early to catch the sunrise and breathe the fresh ocean air. Breakfast comes on the boat while you cruise slowly through the thousands of islands, which gives you great chances for photos. You'll stop at a floating fishing village to hear the fishermen's stories and learn about their daily life. Lunch is on board again before heading back to Halong City pier, then driving back to Hanoi by 3:30 or 4:00 pm. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter, shopping, or trying local street food.

Hanoi to Mai Chau
You'll depart Hanoi at 8:30 am, driving through scenic countryside to Bakhan Village via Hoa Binh City. There's a short tea or coffee break at 10:30 am, then lunch at the Bakhan Village Restaurant at noon. After checking in to your room, an afternoon walk around Muong Village of Khan Ha and West hill starts around 3:00 pm so you can take in the valley views and experience local culture. Dinner is at 7:00 pm, and if available, there's a traditional dance performance by villagers from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.

Mai Chau to Hanoi
Your morning starts at 9:00 am with a trek along the East Mountain route through Mai Chau's landscape, offering valley views and suitable for most fitness levels. You'll return to the resort by 11:00 am to rest and check out. Lunch at the resort happens at noon, then you depart for Hanoi at 1:30 pm. You'll reach the Hanoi Old Quarter by 5:00 pm where your tour ends.
