Luxor
You'll board your cruise ship in Luxor and settle in for the evening. Dinner is available at the ship's restaurant, or if you arrive later, you can have a light meal sent to your cabin.

Luxor to Edfu
Start the day at Karnak Temple Complex, one of ancient Egypt's largest religious sites that was built and expanded over more than 1,000 years. After lunch back on the ship, you'll cruise toward Edfu while relaxing on deck. Dinner and your overnight stay happen aboard.

- Day 3
Edfu to Kom Ombo
Walk through the Temple of Horus, which is one of Egypt's best-preserved ancient monuments dating from 237 to 57 BC. As the ship cruises toward Kom Ombo, you'll pass the Gebel el-Silsila quarry and attend a presentation about ancient Egypt. Later, visit the dual-temple at Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods. Egyptian-themed dinner and overnight stay on board.

Aswan
Visit the Philae Temple Complex, a UNESCO-protected site originally built for the goddess Isis, and then see the Aswan Dam, one of the world's largest dams that controls the Nile's flow and flooding. After lunch on board, you'll take a boat tour on the Nile between granite islands and natural reserves, passing Elephantine Island. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.

- Day 5
Aswan to Esna
This morning in Aswan is free for you to explore on your own. Check out the Nubian Museum, wander through the souk, or visit the historic Old Cataract Hotel where Agatha Christie wrote Death on the Nile. An optional excursion to Abu Simbel's rock temples is available (about 140 miles southwest, roughly 3 hours each way by car). Return to the ship for lunch, then cruise to Esna with dinner and an overnight stay.

Esna to Luxor
In the morning, cruise back toward Luxor while listening to a presentation on modern Egypt. After lunch on board, visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, built for one of Egypt's most important female pharaohs, and Tomb KV11 in the Valley of the Kings, constructed for Pharaoh Rameses III and known for its vibrant preserved colors and detailed scenes. Overnight stay on the ship.

Luxor
Spend the day in the Valley of the Kings, visiting four royal tombs including Seti I's tomb, which is the longest and deepest with remarkably preserved colorful paintings and detailed carvings. You'll also stop at the Colossi of Memnon for photos. After lunch on board, head to Luxor Temple in the heart of town. Later, enjoy a traditional Egyptian entertainment show with dinner before your final night aboard.
