  I had a very good experience with this 10-day Bali tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bali for the first time. From the beginning, the team was responsive and accommodating. I had to change my travel plans before the tour, and they handled everything efficiently and made the process easy. The itinerary covered Bali, the Gili Islands, and Nusa Penida, offering a nice balance of nature, culture, and free time. What stood out the most, however, were the people. Every guide and driver we met was kind, professional, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Their attitude made a real difference throughout the trip. I have only two suggestions for improvement. The hotel in Ubud was located quite far from the town center, which made it less convenient during our free time. Also, in Nusa Penida our driver was courteous and drove safely, but it would have been nice if he could share a few basic facts about the temples, statues, and other places we visited, as this would have added more value to the experience. Overall, these are relatively minor points. The tour was well organized, the team was reliable and supportive, and I would happily recommend it to other travelers.Show more

  Bali is amazing! I had a time! I would give a five but it was a bit alarming asking last minute if was interested in changing dates due to no one else signing up for the trip. Coming all the way from the USA it would have been a bit frantic changing flights and everything in such a tight time frame. The hotels expressed in the itinerary were not used except for the first. I did have a kind of expectation of those but was moved quickly once I expressed my room being unsatisfactory. I think Bali is so amazing no one could have a bad time but some of the guides were better suited to drive as they didn't know anything about history of Bali or anything beyond basics. They definitely did not understand me. Hustus was very passionate about his job and ensuring things were adequate and very engaging. He was very helpful and genuine. The trip is great with or without other travelers. Please continue to offer it!Show more

  I booked this tour expecting it to be a group tour, but I was surprised to find out after arriving in Bali that it had been changed to a private tour because there were not enough participants. I was not informed of this before my trip, nor was I given the option to cancel or receive a refund. The tour was also very expensive considering the services provided. The hotels were located far from the main tourist areas, which resulted in wasted time and additional transportation costs. The Nusa Penida trip was disappointing as well. The roads were in very poor condition, making the journey uncomfortable and far less enjoyable than expected. Overall, after comparing prices, I realized that if I had booked the hotels, transportation, and activities on my own instead of through this company, I could have saved around 50% of the total cost while enjoying much greater flexibility. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I do not believe the price reflected the quality or value of the services provided.Show more

During our conversation, we explained the available options, including operating the trip as a private tour, and reached a mutual agreement before your arrival in Bali. Your response at the time was: “Ok fine if there’s new destinations I want to visit I can arrange with driver that okay deal 👍🏻” Based on this confirmation, we proceeded with the tour as agreed. 2. Refund Option: The review mentions that no cancellation or refund option was provided. We would like to clarify that, under our booking conditions, guests are entitled to a full refund when a guaranteed group departure cannot operate due to minimum participant requirements. After discussing the available options, you chose to continue with the private tour. 3. Hotel Locations: The accommodations used during your trip were the same hotels listed in your confirmed itinerary before arrival/departure. Their locations were communicated in advance and were not changed after your booking. We also understand your disappointment regarding the roads in Nusa Penida. Unfortunately, road infrastructure is managed by the local authorities and is beyond the control of any tour operator. Despite this, it remains one of Bali’s most popular destinations because of its spectacular scenery and unique landscapes. Regarding pricing, while independent travel can sometimes appear less expensive when comparing individual components, our tours include professionally planned itineraries, accommodation, transportation, activities, local operational support, and assistance before, during, and after the trip. Many of our guests appreciate the convenience, security, and peace of mind that come with a fully organized experience.   I did the trip in July 2025 and had a very wonderful experience!!! The tour was very well planned! Our tourguide Yustus was so kind, wise and joyful, really the best tour guy you can imagine. Also the driver Tressno did an amazing job through the Bali Island!!! It was a very nice mix between sightseeing, resting, good food, free time and some little adventures!!! To me: the tour incl. Gili Trawangan and Nusa Penida was THE BEST!!! There are still so many beautiful memories of this trip! I felt always safe, entertained and informed!Show more

  This experience was fantastic! The locations we went to were a great mix of urban and island that gave us a well-rounded introduction to Bali life, even if they were a little touristy. The activities were diverse and engaging and breathtakingly beautiful. I'm honestly not sure I can pick a favorite. As for our guides - Kadek was thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable. He added so much to the trip! Tress and Kadek 2 were both very kind and skillful drivers. I felt safe in their hands. I don't know how Kadek 2 navigated those streets on Nusa Penida. They are insane. And Yustus! Yustus was wonderful! He was fun, friendly, and respectful. He was always quick to carry luggage, help us up all the stairs to the beaches (be ready to do some climbing!), or add fun facts about the locations. Plus, he's SO easy to talk to. Our group felt like a family and Yustus was definitely part of the family. I'd highly recommend this trip! Thank you, Bali Trip Mate and thank you, beautiful Bali!Show more

  We had an absolutely fabulous time. Yustus was a great tour leader, lovely person and very accommodating to our needs. He also made our trip fun and very enjoyable playing guitar and singing with us. We also appreciated our local tour guides, drivers and motor bike escorts on Nusa Penida. We learned so much about Bali and its people. We would thoroughly recommend others to do this amazing trip in order to get a taste of many of the wonderful destinations in Bali. We enjoyed all the different accommodation styles. The only improvement we would have liked is to have been able to upgrade at Gili T to an ocean view room.
