Looking for an Egypt tour that includes a 3 or 4 night Nile river cruise and has space to allow for a family of 3 (15 yr old son). Another family going has 2 children ages 6 & 8 at the time of travel. I am looking for a tour that includes a 3 or 4 night tour please. So a tour that is land with a cruise in the middle perhaps. We had been assured when making our booking that we would be accommodated on a much smaller vessel (18 passengers they said), and definately not the typically large multi-storey rivership as per typical brochures (they assured us). Notwithstanding this misleading booking information, we had a good time on the vessel. Food was of wide variety and good quality, accommodation spacious enough, and crew were very friendly and helpful. The idea of being accompanied on this cruise by a dedicated guide was not value for money, and added little to our tourist experiences beyond him being more able to obtaining tickets at the various sites visited. The cruise itself, and the river sightseeing, from Aswan to Luxor was relaxing and enjoyable. The times allocated for visiting the various temples and etc along the way, was somewhat short. A bit rushed for us. Be that as it may, the on-shore transport arrangements worked quite effectively. The hidden extra costs ought to be made more transparent for customers. Paying for water, tea and coffee may seem a bit petty to some western travellers. just something to consider.Show more

- For any tour departing before April 28th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 28th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Ancient Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
