Are flights separate? If so, when and where should we arrive?

Yes, international flights are separate from the cost. Domestic flights shown on the itinerary are included in the price. This tour starts and ends in Lima. Day 1 is March 21st and Day 10 is March 30th. You can arrive/depart on those days, or opt to extend your trip in Lima on either end to experience more of the city.

I'm just trying to compare Peru Family journey vs. The Inca Journey. I will be traveling alone and will need a private room. The Peru family Journey cost $4478 per person vs $3500 for The Inca Journey. Both trips are pretty similar. Is there a reason one is much more than the other?

Transfers to and from airports are included but local flights are not included? Is this correct?

Would it be possible to do back to back with Galapagos over Christmas 2033 for Galapagos island hopping tour? Or do the dates/times not line up to allow?

We currently have our dates for 2023 set, but not yet for 2024. In December 2023, this tour runs from Fri, 22 Dec - Sun, 31 Dec. Can you let me know your currency so we can advise a price for the tour?

  Our National Geographic Family Journey's already use Upgraded Hotels. You will be able to find the hotels we use (or similar) listed at the end of each day on our itinerary. We are not able to upgrade the hotels any further, nor can you opt to stay in different hotels as you need to be staying at the same accommodation as the rest of the group and the tour guides due to the itinerary and transport.

  Family Journeys are designed for groups traveling with children between the ages of 7 and 17 at time of travel. Your group must include a child age 7+ in order to book, and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and please note, we allow a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 2 children. If you are travelling solo, you are not eligible to join a Family trip. Local flights as part of the itinerary ARE included as they're part of the trip. International flights are not included. An airport arrival transfer is included on Day 1 of this trip. Departure transfers back to the airport at the end of the trip are at your own cost. All National Geographic Journeys are based on double occupancy meaning 2 people per room.

  Where exactly does it say that if I don't have any children traveling with me, I'm not eligible to book this trip? That should be more clear in your description, especially if there is an option to book solo.

  The age limit and the fact that you must be travelling with children to participate in this tour is listed in the tour details. The title of the tour 'Peru Family Journey: Machu Picchu to the Amazon' implies that is for families. The Inca Journey tour is open to all ages 18 and up and is a much better choice for you if you are travelling solo.
