Unfortunately, the single supplement fee is mandatory for solo travellers. We are unable to match individual travellers to share rooms, as this helps prevent potential issues during the tour. If you would like to avoid the single supplement, you are welcome to travel with a companion and book on a twin-share basis.

Do you offer any discounts for teachers? Not sure we can afford the trip at the current price.

can fish and sushi be avoided? i dont like the smell - i like more kobe beef- yakiniku, wagyu experience - also can you point the free times and tell me what we can see more and extra places - as we love to be on the go at all times - rather than slow paced

Can solo travellers share a room with other travellers?

Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange shared rooms between travellers who do not know each other. As such, a single room is required for solo travellers, and the single supplement would apply. If your client would like to avoid the single supplement, they would need to travel with a companion.

Is this tour conducted in ENGLISH only? Will this tour will have a full-time tour guide, we will not have to navigate public transportation to meet with the tour guide?

This is an English-guided tour. Your tour guide will accompany the group throughout the itinerary, except on the designated free days, during which you will explore independently. Please note that airport transfer is not included. We typically use Odysis Suites Osaka Airport Hotel, which is conveniently located just one train stop from the airport or around a 15-minute taxi ride from Kansai International Airport (KIX).

I was checking the tour a few weeks ago and the price was lower than this. Could you let me know if I can receive the old price?

Since we did not run any Black Friday promotions from our side, any discounted pricing you may have seen was offered directly by TourRadar. As such, we are unfortunately unable to offer a price match, and the rate provided is the best available from us.

We are travelling with teenagers aged 17, 15, and 13 at the time of travel. We understood we need to book 2 double-room and 1 single. Will it be ok to have our 17 years old in the single room, knowing each adult will be with the younger ones?

At the top of the booking page, we saw it was possible to pay 10% now and the rest by April. But, on payement tab, this option disappears and we need to pay at least 50% of the price upon booking. How can we take advantage of the first payment option?

It was well organised and we saw quite a lot of Japan, all the things I wanted to see. The weather was perfect with a great group of fellow travellers. Yumi was a lovely guide. I would recommend Tomato Travel to my friends. My suggestions are - That we are made aware that we can change the flights and airline with the understanding that this will cost extra. Although mostly people managed I think it would be helpful to be given more direction about restaurants and cafes and ordering food. As we went along in the bus Yumi would sometimes read information about the next destination. When she did this she lost her usual animated voice and read in a monotone which was difficult to hear and understand.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Tomato Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Tomato Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Tomato Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
