  The staff and food on this trip were excellent. Our room was very nice and clean, with great views. The only difficulty we ran into was that only one of the excursions was offered in English, as the guide found out there were English speakers and she was happy to translate. It would have been more economical (and more enjoyable) had we just paid the entrance fee and got the headphones with English. It would be great to see a system out in place for some recordings or other devices to allow the English translations, as technology is simple now. Other than that, the trip was wonderful and exactly as described.Show more

  Overall it was a great cruise. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Excursions were very good and I would recommend taking them. Food was very good, but you had no choice unless you advised prior to meal that you wanted something other than what was being served that day. If you want a true French experience than this is the crusise for you.Show more

  Ship MS Van Gogh Staff friendly & very efficient. Many languages catered for. Ship decor very good Cabin Main deck very nice, cleaned daily and great air con. Bathroom clean and modern, small but functional. Beds very comfy. Meals and food quality exceptional. Chef Lyne is amazing and has to match the excursion to the Paul Bocuse restaurant in Lyon on the first night, which in fact in my opinion she does. Breakfast is a buffet, food varied and good quality, omelettes can be ordered. Lunch and Dinner - 3 courses, varied day by day and extremely well waited on. Wines on offer are excellent. On board entertainment is fun but you are not pressured to joining in. Stop locations are well thought out and the locations are all memorable. Optional excursions are also well thought out and the guides well selected for their knowledge. I highly recommend the excursion to Les Gorges d'Ardeche, it a 4.5 hour bus ride with a few stops but the views are phenomenal and well worth the trip. The whole cruise was exceptional and a large part is down to the crew of the MS Van Gogh who work extremely hard and are multi functional, always with a smile on their faces. I would personally like to thank the crew of MS Van Gogh for giving me a very memorable vacation.Keep it up ladies & gentlemen. I can't think of any way to improve my experience and that doesn't happen very often.Show more

  It was our first ever river cruise. Prior to this we've done quite a few sea cruises. Quite a bit of a difference! But we loved it! Much, much smaller ship with only about 135+ passengers, one dining room and a bit smaller cabins. But this cabins have a huge windows and we could see the rivers flow and the all the surroundings close by. Staff was very friendly, food was excellent, a few nights of the entertainment was fun and the all of our stops along the way, visiting small French villages, were very interesting. We'd recommend this cruise to anyone!Show more

  What a lovely trip, we were very pleased with our comfortable cabin. The crew could not have been more helpful, in fact they were so helpful. The food was incredible every day, not anything we didn't like, it was a very varied tasty menu. We would certainly recommend a Croisieurope cruise to anyone. The places we visited were very interesting and the organised tours well organised and a great introduction to some historic interesting places with guides who knew their subject.Show more
