  1. Day 1

    Buenos Aires

    When you land at Ezeiza International Airport, take the regular shuttle transfer to your hotel. Get settled in and spend the evening at your own pace.

  2. Day 2

    Buenos Aires

    After breakfast, you'll join the 9 am city tour covering the main highlights. The route takes you through the National Congress, Metropolitan Cathedral, and May Square, then on to the Colon Theater and San Telmo's tango bars. From there, you'll see La Boca's colorful buildings, Palermo's mix of architecture and parks, and finish at La Recoleta to check out the famous cemetery. The afternoon is yours to wander around Buenos Aires however you like.

    Buenos Aires

    You have the whole day free to explore Buenos Aires on your own. Later at 8 pm, head to Madero Tango for a dinner show with live tango. You'll pick from five options each for your entree, main course, and dessert, plus get a bottle of local wine (Malbec, Cabernet, or Chardonnay) split between two guests, or beer and soft drinks if you prefer.

    Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazu

    Check out of your hotel by 11 am after breakfast. Later in the evening, board the night bus heading to Puerto Iguazu, traveling through the night.

  5. Day 5

    Puerto Iguazu

    You'll arrive in Puerto Iguazu around midday and transfer to your accommodation. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting familiar with the area.

  6. Day 6

    Iguazu Falls (Argentine Side)

    Start at the local museum after breakfast, then head out for a full day at Iguazu National Park on the Argentine side. Walk the Lower Trail to see Two Sisters, Bossetti, Hidden, and Union Falls with views of San Martin Island. Continue on the Upper Trail for views above the major falls and San Martin Fall. Take the Jungle Train to Devil's Throat station, then walk along catwalks for about 1,000 meters to reach Devil's Throat where you'll see the full power of the Iguazu River and rainbows formed by the mist.

    After breakfast, join the half-day trip to see Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side. Your guides take you to panoramic viewpoints of the Argentine waterfalls. You'll walk along scenic paths near Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamin, and Santa Maria Falls.

    Puerto Iguazu to Tucuman to Salta

    Check out before 11 am and have breakfast before heading to the bus station. Late in the evening, board the night bus heading to Tucuman city.

    Tucuman to Salta

    You'll arrive in Tucuman in the evening and catch a connecting bus to Salta. The second bus gets in late at night, and then you'll check into your Salta accommodation.

  10. Day 10

    Purmamarca

    Head out at 7 am after breakfast for the Safari to the Clouds/Purmamarca excursion, following the same route as the famous Train to the Clouds. Your route zigzags through remote roads between the Puna plateau and blue skies, passing Campo Quijano and the impressive Quebrada del Toro. You'll stop at Santa Rosa de Tastil, a pre-Inca city from the 13th century, and do a short archaeological hike. Then continue to San Antonio de los Cobres, a traditional mining town, cross a desert plateau with salt flats, and drive through the Lipan mountains before reaching the Seven-Color Hill in Purmamarca. Stay overnight there.

    Humahuaca Valley - Salta

    After breakfast, head out for the full-day Humahuaca excursion through this long, narrow valley surrounded by colorful mountains. The route follows the Camino Inca, a major cultural path with 10,000 years of history from prehistoric times through the Inca Empire and 19th-20th century independence movements. You'll stop at Purmamarca to see the Seven-Color Hill, then continue to Tilcara, Uquia, and Humahuaca. By evening, you'll head back to Salta, arriving between 7 and 8 pm.

    For the price, we loved our accomodation which was in El Calafate Hostel, and the tour of Perito Moreno. Our guide, Cece, short for Elizabeth, is very knowledgeable. The length of the tour was perfect. We had all the time to see what needed to be seen. The only negative thing was that we expected our pick up time at 7:00 as stated in the tour but the pick up actually started at 9:00. Good thing someone was available to answer our question ASAP thru WhatsApp. I would recommend this to all my friends. Rate 4.8 just bec of the misinformation.

    Is is possible to add an extra Tango show on the first or second night we are in Buenos Aires? The itinerary shows it on the 3rd evening.
