Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
You'll arrive in Luxor and connect with your guide for the transfer to Luxor Temple, where you can walk through the courtyard and see the granite statues of Ramses the Great up close. From there, head to the Karnak temple complex, which is quite large and features the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 columns, various obelisks, and the Sacred Lake. By midday you'll board your Nile cruise in time for lunch, then settle in with afternoon tea and dinner on board followed by a belly dance show.

- Day 2
West Bank
This morning starts with an optional hot air balloon flight over the Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens, and Mountain of the Nobles, which runs about 45 minutes if weather cooperates. After landing, you'll explore the West Bank including the Valley of Kings to check out tombs from different dynasties, then visit the Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the way back, stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch and afternoon tea happen on the cruise, and later you'll have a disco party before settling in for the night on board.

Kom Ombo
Start with breakfast on board, then sail to the Temple of Horus in Edfu to walk through this well-preserved site. Continue sailing down the Nile to Kom Ombo where you'll visit the Temple Shared by the Two Gods Sobek and Haroeies, which sits right on the riverbank. Lunch and afternoon tea are served on board, and you'll stay overnight on the cruise.

Aswan
After breakfast on board, sail to Aswan and check out the High Dam, completed in 1964, where you can look across Lake Nasser. Later, head to Philae Temple on the island of Agilkia (it was relocated here from the original island of Philae to save it from flooding). The main Temple of Isis and other monuments here date from the 26th Dynasty through the Roman period. You'll have lunch and afternoon tea on the cruise, then dinner, and stay overnight in Aswan.

- Day 5
Aswan
After breakfast on board, you'll disembark and have the option to visit the Temples of Abu Simbel, which includes the massive Temple built by Ramses II in the 19th Dynasty, carved right from a sandstone cliff with huge carved figures of deities on the front, plus the smaller Temple dedicated to his wife Nefertari and the goddess Hathor. Both were moved to higher ground to prevent flooding. Return to Aswan for your transfer to the airport or train station.
