Itinerary
- Day 1
Darwin to Kakadu National Park
Head east from Darwin along the Arnhem Highway, driving through river systems and wetlands as you enter Kakadu National Park. Start at the Warradjan Cultural Centre to learn about Aboriginal traditions and history. After that, you'll take a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong where saltwater crocodiles and birdlife are common sightings. Grab lunch, then spend the afternoon checking out the rock art galleries at Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) with your driver guide explaining the significance of the ancient paintings.

- Day 2
Western Arnhem Land
Travel by 4WD into Western Arnhem Land and the Mikinj Valley with your Aboriginal guide. The landscape shifts between forests, sandstone outcrops, escarpments, floodplains and billabongs as you move through the area. You'll visit ancient rock art sites that most tourists can't reach. Throughout the day, learn about traditional land ownership, bush skills, hunting techniques, and how to gather and prepare bush tucker from someone who knows the land firsthand.

- Day 3
Ubirr to Darwin
Start in the World Heritage Area of Ubirr by climbing through ancient Aboriginal rock art galleries believed to be around 20,000 years old, making your way up to the lookout for views over the wetlands. Later, join the Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River with an Aboriginal guide sharing insights into culture, mythology, and survival skills. With special permission, you'll go ashore in Arnhem Land before visiting the Marrawuddi Art Gallery. Head back to Darwin in the evening.
