  The tour and tour guides were pretty good. The problem came along day 12 when a bunch of rude people joined the tour....
  The tour and tour guides were pretty good. The problem came along day 12 when a bunch of rude people joined the tour. Many of them were sick and didn’t wear masks. The same day we got a different bus that was very uncomfortable and the air conditioning didn’t work in the back half of the bus. It was over 100 degrees in the back and people were fighting over seats. They also ran out of water so it was a dangerous situation. I told our guide that 2 people had Covid on the bus (had overheard them talking about it) and still, no one was made to wear a mask. Sure enough, my son and I both got Covid, which I had managed to avoid for 6 years until this tour. I ended up spending Portugal in bed and completely missing that part of the trip. Very disappointing.Show more

We have no record of passengers being reported as sick during the trip. While we always encourage guests to consider the health and safety of others and take appropriate precautions, ultimately these decisions are made individually. We also note that you did not inform us that you or your son were ill during the tour. Had we known, we would have immediately opened a medical case and provided all possible assistance to ensure your comfort and care.   This tour was not what I expected. Too many stops too many problems. The tour guides were efficient but the tour compared to others was not as good. Language issues. Hotel issues and accommodations sometimes were not the best for the money we paid. And the accommodations without certain amenities were not great. I have been with Cosmos through tour radar and had nothing but a great experience. This was tiresome with I suppose too many countries to go through. I suspect one destination of a country is better.Show more

  Worst Tour ever, and we are seasoned travelers. Booked via TourRadar which then outsourced tour to Europamundo, which was not know upfront. Europamundo was extremely unorganized, had very poor communication, and appeared to find the cheapest methods of completely the tours. Would never book with this company again.Show more

  I liked the itinerary and the sights covered. The tour guides were good but they kept changing and the accommodation was hit and miss. The tour got really big at times and the groups on the busses kept changing as people joined and left our group. I still enjoyed the trip though.Show more

  So disorganised, although this wasn’t the guides fault. I had paid for an optional tour to see Moulin Rouge which was very expensive and included transfers from hotel, which according to the police was in an unsafe neighbourhood. I was told at 4pm on the day that I had to find my own way there and back as no one else had booked. Seriously!! I asked for a refund and the tour guide worked some transport out for me. That was day 2. Most of the hotel were in terrible locations except for a couple. No one seems to have any concept of time and we constantly arrived late to hotels. There were so many issues, food at some of the hotels also being one of them, but I know you won’t make any changes so am not going to waste any further time with this review. The last thing I will say is that I wil tell everyone I know to never tour with Europamundo.Show more

Standards, bed sizes, and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class, both across different countries and even within the same country.   Itinerary was excellent, it included interesting stops I would not have selected on my own as well as bucket list musts. Overall organization was great, the hotels and transportation were dependable and high quality. Guides, we had two who were excellent (Maribel and Carlos) and one who was terrible (Eduardo). Maribel was wonderful and enthusiastic, and Carlos went above and beyond and helped my husband purchase a cake for my birthday in Lisbon. Eduardo did not translate information that was given to the Spanish group.Show more

  Excellent accommodation though extremly busy. Amazing Spanish tour guide-Julia V. She is kind , always smiling, supportive and very informative. Extremely organised and alwyas informed what, where to meet. dealt with disgruntled travellers who always want to sit at the front to take photos. There were many groups merging and interchanging which means extra work for tour guides and some.grumpy travellers.   Great see it all kind of tour. Albeit, demanding at times with its rigid schedule for departures and short turnarounds at some very interesting places. But we knew ahead of time what to expect considering all we saw and had to see. The best tour guide we had during all 17 days on this circuit was Luis Cebollada. He consistently went out of his way to accommodate requests and improve upon the cultural experience in each country. His knowledge of the sights and the people was insightful and very helpful during our tour. All and all...a memorable and unforgettable experience.Show more
