Circuit 2 is the most popular and also the one that sells out the fastest, so we highly recommend booking as soon as possible to secure these tickets.

we are looking at booking the 2 day trip to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. We were trying to figure out where our luggage will be when we are on the train to Machu Picchu on the second day. Does it stay at the hotel from the overnight or in your van?

However, if you are referring to a daypack, you can leave it at the hotel while you visit Machu Picchu. Please remember that it is not necessary to carry a lot of luggage for this tour.

We had a blast on this tour. For starters, my wife has a disability which makes some of the activities on this tour difficult. However, our tour guide Katia was extremely accommodating. We ended up booking a private tour so we wouldn't be slowing down any other guests. We started in Cusco with a hotel pickup, which was very helpful. We went to an Alpaca and Llama farm. From there we went to Pisac, the Pisac and the Pisac market. We were concerned about the cost of some items at the Alpaca farm, so Katia took us to a specific store in the Pisac market which sold the baby Alpaca garments for a better price. From there we went to lunch at a buffet, which was nice. After that, we went to Ollantaytambo. The standard tour has Maras and Moray prior to this, but we wanted to get to Aguas Calientes earlier so that we could rest prior to Machu Picchu the next day. After this we were dropped off at the train station with Katia walking us all the way to the waiting room. She wasn't yet in Aguas Calientes when we arrived, but her colleague picked us up and walked us to our hotel room. We were then escorted to dinner to meet with Katia prior to dinner so we were aware of the itinerary for Machu Picchu. Katia helped us walk to the bus stop and helped my wife all throughout Machu Picchu. She provided us with a lot of useful information and even helped us with our bags after lunch after. All in all, Katia was extremely communicative, helpful, and empathetic. We really enjoyed going on this tour with her, and would recommend this overall tour to anyone. We got to see everything that we wanted for a reasonable price without having any real points of stressShow more

The driver was also very professional, the van was clean and in good condition. The inclusive lunch was very nice in a fancy restaurant. We enjoyed it very much. Our experience over the two days was almost 5 stars, right up to the very end. Katia was our tour guide, and she was amazing! She was very friendly, compassionate, personable, and flexible to meet the needs of me and my daughter--it was just the two of us on the trip with her. She is very proud and knowledgeable of her ancestors' culture and the Quechua language. And she knew all of the best places to take tons of photos! While Katia worked hard to ensure the best experience for us, I do believe there were issues from her company that were beyond her control. On the first day, we had two different drivers (they switched while we were exploring the Sacred Valley area). And then on the last day, we had a different driver altogether. Katia told us the driver would be waiting for us with a sign with our names on it. When we got out from the train station at Ollantaytambo, we looked for the white car that we were in the day before. But we did not see it or anyone with the sign. Turns out, we were assigned to be on a bus filled with people from a trek of the Inca Trails. While we thoroughly enjoyed our Panoramic train ride, this late ride on a packed bus was not the private transport we had in mind, or were looking forward to. Katia was very kind to try to keep in touch with us until we returned to our hotel in Cusco. However, our contact was very limited because we did not have wifi signal most of the time we were on the road. This same tour, if booked on Trip Advisor, would include the train ride all the way back to Cusco. I do not know why the trip through Tourradar is different. It was definitely an inconvenience and challenge, especially since Katia was not assigned to return with us. We would been able to deal with the different driver / vehicle situation much easier if our guide was with us. Similarly, it was "interesting" that our tour guide was not booked to be on the train with us from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes on Day 1. Her ticket was for a completely different time. Luckily, Katia was able to change her ticket to the same time, but she was still not in the same car as us. Altogether, my daughter and I enjoyed our time and experience with our guide, Katia. We hope TreXperience and Tourradar can work out the "transportation kinks" and make this a problem-free, total 5-star experience for their customers.Show more
