For one traveller we are arranging a car.. it will have enough space for one suitcase without a issues (20-30kg)

If our flight arrives at 2:05 am or 3:05 am, will the tour company have someone available to pick us up this early and start the tour at that time, or what is the plan for these early-morning arrivals?

We can arrange pre-tour accommodation at Araliya Lagoon Park with bed and breakfast for USD 55 per night. This will also include airport pickup.

How free are we to change the activities that are planned in the tour? Can we visit a workplace in Sigiriya and skip other activities? As there are no whales in October, we do not want to do the whalewatching boattrip, is there an alternative? About the hotels: you give several options. Is it up to us which hotel we will stay?

Is it possible to make the trip a day shorter, by skipping the program on day 7? What influence does that have on the total amount per person? As we are a group of 4 women who like their privacy: is it correct that when we book seperate rooms, their are no extra costs?

From the moment I arrived, everything was organised perfectly, and I felt safe, relaxed, and well looked after throughout the trip. My guide and driver, Kanishka , was amazing. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed every part of my holiday. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated that he happily took lots of photos for me, meaning I have some wonderful memories to look back on. He also helped with my luggage at every hotel and was always happy to accommodate any requests, whether it was stopping for a toilet break, grabbing a drink, or making small changes to the day's schedule to suit my interests. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The itinerary was a good mix of culture, wildlife, stunning scenery, and local experiences, and the hotels were all comfortable and well chosen. This was one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. Firstly, our tour guide Jaya made us feel very safe and comfortable. He would always inform us about the customs, the culture, tourist traps and what we should or shouldn't do. He customized the tour according to our needs and wants, we skipped whatever we wanted to and moved things around if possible (for example we will get to release turtles and watch the hatching in the evening when it usually happens, even though normally this is a daytime activity). He kept the car clean, made sure we were well hydrated and got us some fruits and snacks. We are so happy to have had him as our guide. Secondly, the country is beautiful and our activities were perfect. Many animal experiences, so much lush green scenery, lovely temples and cultural activities, great food and people. Even though we traveled at the beginning of the Yala monsoon season, we barely got any rain and got to do all of our activities with sunny skies which is always a plus for us. We didn't have any issues finding food for our taste, breakfast was included and satisfactory. All of the hotel staff and safari guides were welcoming and friendly. Sri Lanka is a must do and we are very glad we chose this tour for the week holiday we had. A lot of the big "must see" activities were included. Elephant and crocodile safaris were exceptional. Snake farm and turtles will be once in a lifetime experiences. Overall we are super happy and content, we definitely got more than our money's worth and we are very grateful to both Jaya and the company for making Sri Lanka unforgettable. Thank you.Show more

We did the 7 night splendour of Sri Lanka tour privately. We were lucky enough to get a fantastic driver Kumara . Kumara was very informative, enthusiastic , helpful , patient and had a great sense of humour with perfect English. Kumara really made our trip. We chose to go south as we wanted to avoid the wet season. The weather was very warm with a build up of rain in the afternoons , which didn’t bother us. We saw mountains, lion rock , safaris, aruvedic massages, train trips , lovely temples . The pace is fast but it needs to be to see everything . Kumara was easy going so if we wanted to skip something , there wasn’t a problem . Would definitely do another tour of Sri Lanka but only ok Kumara was the driver ! The hotels were clean 3 star hotels , all had good reviews on booking.com . Some had pools and mini fridges some didn’t but all were adequate. The staff at the hotels couldn’t be friendlier . Also we left a valuable item in one of the hotels and Kumara arranged for it to arrive the next day at our next hotel . He went above and beyond for that . Would thoroughly recommend. !Show more

This tour is ideal for a first time visit as you will be exploring the highlights of Sri Lanka.Kanishka was very knowledgeable on the history of the places I visited. I was a solo traveller and he drove me for the entirety of the trip in a private car (over 1200kms) during this trip. Be prepared to move often as you will be spending a lot of time on the road and staying in different hotels almost every night. You will experience different climates in different cities from extreme heat, rain to pleasant misty cool weather in the hill country. If you would like to spend more time in one location, let your tour guide and company know as soon as you decide. They are flexible and willing to customize your itinerary based on your interests. I personally wanted to spend more time in Ella and they were able to arrange it. Overall, I would recommend this tour if you are interested in learning about the history and culture of Sri Lanka. Just make sure to check the hotel reviews and details if you are picky about the accommodations as they can be underwhelming.Show more

  When it comes to how far in advance you should book, this really depends on when you would like to travel to Sri Lanka. For busier seasons (like December–March and around major holidays), we highly recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred dates and arrangements. For off-peak periods, you may have a bit more flexibility, but securing your spot in advance is always a good idea.
  
  This particular adventure is available to be booked every day, which gives you fantastic flexibility to choose the dates that work best for you. If you would like to upgrade to a private adventure, this is absolutely possible and would incur an additional fee of USD $50 per traveler.

How free are we to change the activities that are planned in the tour? Can we visit a workplace in Sigiriya and skip other activities? As there are no whales in October, we do not want to do the whalewatching boattrip, is there an alternative? About the hotels: you give several options. Is it up to us which hotel we will stay?

However, we will need the exact location first so we can check the distance and any possible additional kilometers/costs. All activities are flexible. If you do not wish to do any planned activity, your tour guide can suggest suitable alternatives, depending on the time and distance. Regarding hotels, we offer standard, moderate, and luxury packages. Based on the package you choose, we will share a quotation together with the hotel names for your review.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 29th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 29th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Beauty Lanka Travels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Beauty Lanka Travels will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
