  This is the best long distance trek experience I have ever had. Every aspect of the tour was so well organised, from the moment we started our trek to the day we summited and the day we came down. We were given the best attention by the guides and porters. The chef did an excellent job making sure we were well fed. Considering how tough the living conditions were, we were afforded so much luxuries which were only made possible due to the effort from the team. For those who are considering going up Kilimanjaro, cannot recommend enough this group enough!Show more

  Amazing touring experience, could not recommend more highly. Food was of restaurant quality - much better than you would expect on a mountain! The team gave us all the assistance we could ask for, and we managed to summit one day earlier than expected with their support.   Pretty amazing experience! Spider Tours and Safaris took care of us really well; greeted us personally at the airport and left us in the hands of very capable guides who made our experience on the mountain incredible. The food was amazingly tasty, and we ate it even though the altitude suppressed our appetite. I cannot thank our guides Emmanuel, Man-man, Barraca enough !Show more

  As per the previous review my brother and I had a fantastic climb. Traveling from Australia we were extremely pleased with how well organised and run our trek was with spider tours and safaris. Our guides and porters were both friendly, fun and informative. The food & equipment was excellent and our climb was better than we could have hoped. If you have any reservations using a local company you need not worry with this spider tours and safaris.Show more

  I climbed Kilimanjaro with my wife, and I have to say that we had the best time. brayan took care of us every step of the way, from pre-trip planning to waking us up in the morning for warm-up exercise with the whole group. One thing that sets spider tours and safaris apart from the rest is that we actually felt like we were visiting the people of Moshi, not just the mountain itself. brayan and the entire crew helped us feel included every step of the way, and we felt that we really got to learn more about life in Tanzania. I saw other groups that didn't really interact much with their crew or the community, and I think they missed out. We stayed a few days afterwards and volunteered around Moshi, and I recommend that as well.Show more

  I can honestly say I never had such an experience with a operator such as brayan of spider tours and safaris company. He and his crew truly care about the client as a "person" not just a customer. Him and his guide really cared about my experience on the mountain more so that anything to do with the financial aspects of the trip. These guys were the most honest and selfless people I have ever encountered in all of my years when dealing with guides, etc. There were a couple situations on the mountain that I could have easily been faulted and charged for but brayan and his team went above, beyond and out of there way to make sure my climb and my experience were of a life time event quality regardless of the monies to them. Again and in summary you would be a fool not to trust and book with this exceptional local company, as in the end you will get a better deal and better treatment vs any of the other shiny web site "agent" companies that just end up subbing out their work regardless. Thanks again brayan, it is people like yourselves that make traveling worth while.Show more

  We wanted to book our climb with a local operator and after reading many reviews on Tour radar and contacting several companies we decided to go with spider tour and safaris. They were simply amazing! You could easily tell that our crew made a great team, as they were always happy, smiling, chatting and singing to us and among themselves. Our fantastic crew played a big part in making this tour the adventure of a lifetime! We were amazed by the quality (and the quantity!) of the food our cook prepared for us on just one hub! Unfortunately we were not that hungry due to the altitude, but our guide was always checking up on us to make sure we ate enough. He also checked all the time that we drank enough water and checked how we were doing. On Summit night Andrew and Joseph carried our backpacks for us and they literally sang us up to Stella Point! While we were totally out of breath and they kept singing and easily strolled up with their hands in their pockets! They kept encouraging us by saying we were doing really well and that we would definitely make it. And I can tell you it wasn't easy! If you're looking for a successful, professional and entertaining company, spider tours and safaris is the way to go!Show more

  Incredibly impressed with this guide and porter of spider tours and safaris company. I did Kilimanjaro as part of a group of 10. We were treated incredibly by all of our team throughout the trip. The food was amazing and plenty of it. We always had as much cold treated water as we wanted and all 10 of us summit-ed. Also, unlike some other groups on the mountain, we had roll matts provided and another tent for eating etc. "The mess tent!"Show more

  This was a brilliant trip made all the more special by spider tours and safaris. From the outset they were so helpful sorting out a great local hotel for us before and after the climb. They also eased our worries about the treatment of porters. We heard some stories of porters having to carry ridiculous weights on the climb but not with spider tours and safaris. The team we had was led by head guide limo and they were brilliant. The sleeping and chill out situations are very important and were both perfect. We were provided with two ground mats each in your tent and our mess tent where we would eat was great. The head chef, boka, was exceptional. We never went hungry and the food was always spot on which is ideal when the altitude affects your appetite. The guides helped us all at different stages when we felt the altitude and their humor, patience and generosity was the best tonic for the harder stages. All in all a great made even better because of these guys extraordinary efforts.Show more
