If we choose to leave the tour a day early on 6/27/26, where would we be leaving from Tromso or Harstad? And do you know what time we would be able to leave the tour on 6/27? I am looking to fly from Tromso to Svolvaer on 6/27/26. Flight departs at 17:25. Is this doable? Also can you upgrade rooms so there is no bathroom sharing?

I enjoyed the days in Norway. It is a fast paced itinerary but you never get bored at one place. Despite the pace I had quite some hours at each place where we stopped and hiked around. The trip definition matched my expectations. My travel fellows are quite diverse in terms of culture background and age.   On Day 8, the itinerary includes a morning e-bike tour in Tromsø (about 3 hours, usually finishing by late morning). After that, the rest of the day is free. With your 17:25 flight, you should have enough time to join the tour and travel to the airport, but please confirm the exact timing with your tour leader on Day 7 to be sure. Unfortunately, room upgrades are not available from our end. However, you can check with the hotels directly for availability and arrange this independently on the ground.

  Between the two, Hiking Norway's Lofoten Islands is more challenging, with steeper trails and longer hikes. Hike the Lofoten & Vesterålen Islands is moderately paced and better suited for those looking for a less strenuous experience.

  Unfortunately, we don't have specific mileage and elevation gain details available. As a general guide, the included Linken Peak hike is an easy hike of approximately 2 hours. The optional Tjeldbergtinden hike is more challenging and offers higher elevation and steeper sections.
