We hired e-bikes and self guided on the rail trail. It was a fantastic option and TdV looked after us very well, especially Bernard. It was so easy to have the bags transferred and accommodation booked for us. I’d recommend this option. The trail itself was beautiful although sadly it’s been caught in one of the recent fires. Do support the affected communities by doing the trail once it’s open again.Show more

  The start point for this trip is Auburn. This is a very small town and the first nights accommodation, so the actual start point will be from the accommodation on the first night which is usually the Rising Sun hotel but may be another nearby property.

  We don't hold rooms for all dates, so the accommodation will depend on availability. We only check availability once the guest confirms their dates. We have done a quick check and there is availability but limited so we need to book soon. We recommend alternate locations like Adelaide (1.5hrs drive) or nearby Barossa (50 mins drive) for pre and post trip accommodation.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Tour de Vines. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Tour de Vines will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Tour de Vines" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
