What people love about South Australia Tours
- Kangaroo Island Adventure
Great trip. Our tour guide Kevin was great and other travellers were good company.
- Kangaroo Island Adventure
Wonderful trip! Highly recommend! Our guide/driver Kevin really knew Kangaroo Island and provided some flexibility in the schedule. Accommodations in both Penneshaw and Kingscote were comfortable. The breakfasts provided were very good. Favorites were Flinders Chase National Park and the Remarkable Rocks, the Penneshaw Penguins, and Seal Bay.
- 6-Day Eyre Peninsula & Flinders Ranges Adventure Tour
The only drawback was that the ones doing the six days tour had to switch group after three days. Else, the tour was really good!

"We loved our tour! The tour guide Eli was amazing and the experiences we made on kangaroo island were incredible. Would definitely come back and highly recommend the tour to others! It is a bit expensive however that’s mainly because of the ferry to the island which is so expensive, if you deduct this it’s a fair price. Food choices were amazing also the vegetarian ones! We saw so many animals which was amazing 😍

"The itinerary was excellent as it showed us areas where few others had been to such as Mt Wudinna, and Pildappa, which were both climbable, as well as Murphy's Haystacks as some rugged coastline and pristine beaches. Bjorn was excellent with his knowledge of indigenous culture, and flora and fauna, as well as hs dedication to looking after the passengers. The only negatives, were that the van was not 4-wheel drive so there were a few places listed on the itinerary that we were not able to get to, although we went to others that were not listed. Also, on the dirt roads, the side door rattled loudly making it hard to hear Bjorn's commentary. Finally, due to some mis-communication with head office we missed the ferry from Lucky Bay ( a misnomer ) to Wallaroo, so we had to drive back up to Port Auguata and then back to Adelaide.

"Airport pick up and return were both troublesome. Contact numbers were the travel companies tel no. and not mine, leaving me totally to make contact myself with Uber. Instructions re. Pick up point arrived hours after I had sourced the info myself and made my way to the hotel.

Demographics
Solo travelers connect well on our 3-5 day camping tours where the social side comes naturally. You'll share campfire meals, stargaze from swags and pitch in with cooking which gets everyone talking. Our guides Gianna and Eli make a point of getting to know each person, keeping the group dynamic flowing. The activities mix nicely - from sipping wines at Dudley Wines to wildlife spotting in Flinders Chase and helping out at Zelling Reserve. Our small groups mean you'll get to know everyone, plus you can explore both Penneshaw and Kingscote without paying extra as a single traveler.
For couples, our 6-7 day combined Great Ocean Road and Kangaroo Island tours offer that perfect blend of coastal views and wildlife encounters. The flow works really well - you'll start with dramatic coastline scenes, move through Tower Hill's wildlife areas, explore Naracoorte Caves and finally reach Kangaroo Island. Many couples tell us they love having guided activities balanced with free time, especially around Kingscote. Wine enthusiasts get plenty of time at spots like Jacob's Creek, and the small group size lets couples bond with fellow travelers and also their guide.
Active travelers in their 20s and 30s gravitate to our 6-day Flinders Ranges walking tours. You're not just hiking - you'll tackle the challenging Mount Ohlssen Bagge trail, sleep under some of Australia's clearest night skies and learn Aboriginal culture directly from Adnyamathanha guides. The outback tours pack in real adventure too - you'll sleep underground in Coober Pedy, drive 4WDs through ancient landscapes and join local conservation projects. Our wine region cycling tours hit the right balance with daily 25-35km rides between cellar doors and also local lunch spots.
Our 5-6 day Adelaide-based tours work well for seniors, with quality hotels and well-planned day trips. You'll explore North Terrace's cultural spots, visit three top Barossa Valley wineries and take easy walks through the Botanic Gardens. The Kangaroo Island day trip always gets good feedback - you'll see sea lions at Seal Bay, meet local food producers and drive along scenic coastal routes. We include regular stops throughout each day, and there's no difficult hiking or camping involved.
Our Kangaroo Island family tours really hit the sweet spot with 5-day packages covering Adelaide, Barossa Valley and also Kangaroo Island. Kids get a kick out of walking next to lounging sea lions at Seal Bay, while the Cape Willoughby lighthouse climb gives everyone good exercise and some maritime stories. The eucalyptus distillery visits and honey farm tours mix education with fun tastings, and we always hear excited chatter when families try sandboarding at Little Sahara's dunes. The pace works perfectly for families - not too rushed but plenty to keep everyone engaged.
