    I noticed it says somewhat moderate activities. It seems like mostly walking to me. I ask because I will be traveling with 3 teens (14,17&19) and my parents (71&87). Thoughts?

    This trip requires a 3/5 physical rating. A selection of optional activities that have been popular with past travellers is listed in the day-to-day itinerary. These are meant as a guide only and may not all be possible within the time available at each destination. Prices listed are approximate, cover entrance fees only, and generally do not include transport or local guides unless specified. Many activities can be organised independently on the day, or with the help of your group leader or local representative at the Welcome Meeting. For medium or high-risk activities, we work with operators whose safety and credentials have been assessed. Activities not listed have not been assessed, and your group leader or local representative cannot assist with them. Participation in any unlisted activity is at your own discretion and risk. Considering your group includes teens and older adults, we recommend reviewing the day-to-day itinerary carefully and planning which activities are most suitable for everyone's ability and comfort level. Your group leader can also advise on any adjustments on the ground.

    Yes, it is possible to add pre-tour accommodation in Melbourne. We can request to book additional nights at the trip starting point hotel, subject to availability. Pre-tour accommodation can be requested once you have booked the trip and the booking is confirmed. At that stage, we can check availability and provide you with the pricing details.

    How complicated (or not) is the process to get from Melbourne to Adelaide the morning of our trip? Or should be head over (car/flying/etc.) the night before? What are your recommendations?

    If you are looking to get from Melbourne to Adelaide the fastest option would be to fly, I believe its around a 3 hours flight. We suggest checking out the Rome2Rio website its a great tool that can assist you in mapping out the best routes to get from one area to another.

  The map on your website shows heading north after leaving William Creek before going south to Wabma Kadarbu then Marree. When I plot it on Google maps it just heads generally south. What does this indicate? Also, have you ever had a return delayed? I wish to book a cruise that begins the day after this tour returns and couldn't afford to miss it.

    The map might show a slightly upward route between Coober Pedy and William Creek, the actual path is more straightforward across the map. After reaching William Creek, the direction turns south. We have never encountered delays on the return trip to Adelaide, so it is very likely that the tour will finish on schedule.

    The accommodations will be a mix of Hotel, Cabin, Underground hotel, Tents or Cabins with shared facilities, and Resort. As a solo traveler, single supplement is not mandatory. You will be paired with another solo of the same gender. If you want a single supplement, it costs an additional €605. Single supplement does not include Days 6-7 in Iga Warta where you will be matched with travelers of the same gender.

    Unfortunately, flight from Sydney is not included in the trip cost, this needs to be arranged with an additional cost. Regarding meals, 7 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners are included. You will have to budget an appropriate amount for optional meals, drinks, shopping, optional activities, and laundry.

    This tour is open to Ages 15+; the average age of the passengers booked will vary on every departure date. The price is based on twin shares; solo travelers will be assigned a roommate of the same gender. A Single Supplement is bookable on this trip for those that don't want to share a room.
