Itinerary
- Day 1
Zanzibar
You'll arrive at Zanzibar Airport or Harbour and get transferred to Stone Town where your hotel is waiting. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the historic UNESCO-listed Stone Town at your own pace. The area has centuries of trade history built into it, and you'll see this mix of different architectural styles as you explore the streets.

Stone Town & Spice Tour
Your day begins with a walking tour through Stone Town's narrow streets, where your local guide takes you past significant historical sites including the former Slave Market, Anglican Cathedral, House of Wonders, and Sultans' Palace Museum. After learning about Zanzibar's complex history, you'll take a break at The Zanzibar Coffee House before heading to a spice plantation. There you get hands-on with vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon and other spices - feeling them, smelling them, and tasting them. Local chefs then teach you a Swahili cookery lesson so you can see how these flavors actually work in traditional dishes. Later in the afternoon, you transfer to your beach hotel near Jambiani on the southeast coast, where the rest of your day is free to relax.

Jambiani
Over these two days, you're spending time relaxing on Zanzibar's white sand beaches and soaking up the sun. If you want to do something active, there are options like snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, windsurfing and boat trips available. You can also take traditional dhow cruises to see local life or island hop to smaller uninhabited islands. If you're interested in wildlife, Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is an option where you can see Kirk's Red Colobus Monkeys, Syke's Monkeys and Ader's Duikers.
