  Is it possible to extend my stay before and/or after? It's a long way from Canada and one week doesn't feel like enough time.

    There are several Explore tours that combine very well with this trip, either before or after your walking holiday.
    
    **For a pre-trip extension (October 3–10):**
    **Rome, Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast (RAS)** is an excellent option. This 8-day discovery tour begins in Rome and travels south through Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast region before your walking tour starts. It offers a great mix of history, culture, and coastal scenery, making it a natural lead-in to your week of walking.
    
    **Highlights of Puglia (PUL)** is another possibility if you would like to experience a different side of southern Italy. This tour explores the beautiful Puglia region, including its famous trulli houses, historic towns, and local cuisine. You would then travel across to the Amalfi Coast to join your walking tour on October 10.
    
    **For a post-trip extension (October 17–24):**
    **Amalfi Coast Discovery (AC)** is probably the easiest and most seamless combination. This tour starts on October 17, the same day your walking tour ends, and is based in the same village of Bomerano. Rather than focusing on hiking, it offers a more relaxed pace with visits to highlights such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, Ravello, and Capri. This allows you to continue exploring the region without the hassle of changing locations.
    
    **Venice to Rome by Rail (VTR)** is ideal if you would like to experience Italy's iconic cities after your walking holiday. Travelling by train, you'll visit Venice, Florence, and Rome, providing a wonderful contrast to the rural landscapes and coastal villages of the Amalfi Coast.
    
    Of these options, **Amalfi Coast Discovery (AC)** offers the smoothest transition due to its shared location with your walking tour, while **Rome, Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast (RAS)** is probably the best pre-tour combination.

    I prefer the October 3 trip - Agriturismo or Risorgimento. Do you have anything that would fit within that timeline? I don't want to book 2 tours, I can't afford that, I was just wondering if I could extend my stay.

    We do have availability on our Amalfi Coast Walking – Agriturismo (NAW) tour departing October 3. However, we don't currently offer any shorter Explore tours of just a few days that would fit neatly between the end of the tour and your flight.
    
    If you would like to spend an additional three days in the area independently, there are plenty of wonderful places to explore. Some popular options include:
    
    * Spending a couple of nights in Sorrento and exploring the historic centre, marina, and local restaurants.
    * Enjoying time in Ravello, known for its stunning gardens and views over the Amalfi Coast.
    * Staying in Naples before your flight to experience the city's vibrant atmosphere, museums, and famous pizza.
    
    Unfortunately, we would not be able to arrange these independent hotel stays or sightseeing arrangements, but they are all easily accessible from the Amalfi Coast region.
    
    Naples International Airport (NAP) is our closest airport. We offer three complimentary transfers from the airport to our agriturismo in San Lazzaro. The first will be at 12 pm (to join this one, your flight should arrive no later than 11.30 am), and the second is 3 pm (to join this one, your flight should arrive no later than 2.30 pm). We have one final transfer at 7 pm but most of our clients arrive in time for the first two transfers, so the later one at 7 pm doesn't always run. If you know you'll be arriving later and would like to use that transfer, let us know in advance so we can make sure a vehicle is arranged for you. As we need to arrange the transfer vehicles some time in advance and to help us monitor flight arrivals, if you have not booked your flights through Explore you must let us know your flight details and which transfer you would like to join at least 30 days before the start of your trip. If you do not tell us these details, we'll assume that you're travelling on the first transfer. There may not be room on the later private bus for you, in which case you'll need to take a taxi at your own expense - this costs in the region of €120 to €200 and increases as it gets later in the evening. If you plan to arrive later than the second transfer, you'll need to make your own way to the accommodation. If you don't wish to take one of the included transfers and will be making your own way to meet the group at the accommodation, please tell us in advance so the tour leader does not spend time looking for you at the airport.

    Would I be able to extend my stay a few nights at the agriturismo? Or could a transfer be provided to Sorrento since I wouldn't be using the transfer back to Naples?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any additional hotel nights for this tour, as it is sold as a land-only package and pre- or post-tour accommodation is not available through us for this particular trip.
    
    Regarding the transfers, if your flight arrives after the scheduled group transfer time, you would need to make your own arrangements to join the tour. Similarly, if you choose not to use the included transfer back to Naples at the end of the trip, we are unable to provide an alternative transfer to Sorrento.

    The hikes are generally considered moderate. The tour involves a mix of coastal walks, hillside trails, stone stairways, and some uneven terrain. There are a number of ascents and descents throughout the week, so a good level of fitness and comfort walking for several hours each day is recommended.

    In order to avail of the complimentary airport transfer on the final day of the tour, the earliest your flight can depart is 10:00am. As your flight is currently scheduled for approximately 9:30am, this would unfortunately be too early for the included transfer. We can, however, arrange a private airport departure transfer for you at an additional cost of US$220.

    For this tour, accommodations consist of twin-bedded rooms (two separate beds per room). Regarding meals, please note the specific days where lunch and dinner are not included. On these occasions, the tour leader will assist the group with local lunch arrangements and provide recommendations for nearby restaurants for dinner.
