no i am sorry the minimum age for our trips is 16 years old. we do offer family trips that are geared to passengers with children.

I'm interested in this trip but not sure I can do some of the long hikes (like 6.7 miles). How do you deal with that? Would I be able to turn around on my own? Is there a support vehicle?

Regarding the walks - it is unlikely that the tour leader would want you to turn round on your own in the middle of a walk. It is better to discuss the walk with the tour leader prior to setting off to assess if you are able to make the walk. On some days when staying in the same hotel for a few days, you can decide to opt out of the walk and stay around the hotel if you think it would be too demanding. When we move from hotel to hotel there will be a support vehicle transferring the luggage - so on those days if you didn't want to walk you could go with the transfer vehicle.

Are there any areas of exposed hiking. I have difficulty with heights.

Walks are over 5 days for between 3 to 7 hours per day. Most walks are on well-defined footpaths, mountain trails and some dirt tracks. Walks are mainly along mountain trails, there will be some scree, rocky sections and steep climbs. Fit hikers will find the walks a satisfying day out, while less-fit hikers will find them challenging but manageable. This trip is appropriate for seasoned and first-time hikers who enjoy walking, have a good level of fitness and a good balance. It is not suitable for those with recurring hip or knee problems or those unstable on their feet. The maximum walking altitude for this tour is 1800 metres.

The group itself was really good with everyone mixing extremely well and this made it extra good. The big walk up to the pass was the best day with fabulous views and an A to B walk. The other walks were lovely and because it was so hot it was really nice to have plenty of time to relax in the afternoon, but a few of us would have liked to go a bit higher in the mountains and have a longer day for perhaps one of the days.
