Overall we had a great time - all of the local guides used were very knowledgeable and we visited many very interesting places that were off the main foreign tourist routes. The absolute superstar of our trip was our driver/guide Prakash who was with us for the whole tour; his care, kindness and attention on what was our first trio to India really made the experience for us. We were disappointed with a couple of the hotels we stayed in: This tour is billed as using "Heritage Luxury" hotels and two of the five we stayed in definitely were not; both were built new in the last 10 years (one in 2022) and one was more than 10km form the centre of the city we were visiting and was of very poor quality. If you do think about booking this tour I would suggest you get the list of hotels proposed by the operator before you commit and research them yourself to ensure you are happy,Show more
