Thank you very much for sharing your feedback and for recognizing the quality of the tour and our guide service. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the overall travel experience in Tibet. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment caused by the hotel arrangement in Lhasa. There was indeed a mistake on our side regarding the hotel booking and communication, and we fully understand your frustration after booking the tour many months in advance. We have already reviewed this issue internally and will further improve our booking confirmation and communication procedures to prevent similar situations in the future. Regarding the replacement hotel, the later-arranged Tashi Tering International Hotel and the originally planned Thangka Hotel are both local four-star hotels in the same price range, with relatively new facilities and similar standards. We also arranged the two large-bed rooms according to your request. However, due to the special conditions in Tibet, where hotel standards and facilities can differ from travelers’ expectations compared with other destinations, especially considering the remote location and higher operating costs, the hotel may still not have fully met your expectations for the price paid. Thank you again for your understanding and valuable feedback. We truly appreciate the opportunity to serve you in Tibet and hope to welcome you again in the future with an even better experience.

I would like to kindly request an age exemption for the tour, as I will be traveling with my grandmother. She is in excellent health and in perfect shape for traveling, and we are both very much looking forward to participating in this experience together. Please let me know if any additional information or documentation is required to support this request.

    Age Range
    • Great Tibet TourOperatorWritten February 2026

We do not have an age limit for this tour. However, Tibet is a high-altitude region, so we strongly recommend consulting a doctor before travel to ensure it is safe and suitable.

We can apply for your Tibet Travel Permit with the copy of your passport and China Visa. It takes about 12 days. May I know if you have a China Visa?

    • Great Tibet TourOperatorWritten April 2025

Please do not mention Tibet(Lhasa) during your China Visa application. If you mention that you would travel to Tibet during your stay in China, China Embassy would require you to present Tibet Tourism Bureau Permit.
