the ship assigned for this cruise is the Paradis. As far as the bed types go, we can not confirm it. We make a note in the system about the bed prefrences and try to accommodate the guests in such cabin but can not guarantee it.

We have cabins availble for that cruise week before and week after. The ship assigned in this category can be changed up to 30 days prior to the departure but not the category. Only some Deluxe Superior ships have cabins with a balcony. On deck cabins have windows thata can be open and depending on the ship upper/deck cabins have entrance from the outside and some form the hallway. The lower deck cabins have port holes.

The single supplement is 50% of the price per person in the double cabin. In that case the price is: 1.350 + 50% single supplement = 2.025 EUR.

I did southern pearls - dubrovnik to split. I paid the 50% single supplement. The room and bathroom were spacious. There were really well catered and plentiful breakfast and lunches included on board, to the point i was too full to buy dinner in most places. The vibe was relaxed with many swim stops. We stoppend in towns around 5pm most days for a wander. August was super hot so stopping in cities any earlier would have been in peak heat. A few city tours were included. It was very relaxing vibe. I am already considering booking another tour next year and doing the islands north of Split.Show more

First let me say that the ship, tour manager, and crew were amazing. The reason for the low review is because of what happened before and after our cruise. We had been scheduled for the Dream since 2020, but due to Covid, we were unable to make the trip until this year. I paid for my daughter and me to share a double room. Unfortunately, she was unable to travel with me, so I decided to not ask for a refund and keep the double room for myself. As a result, I paid over $2500. When our group of five, who had all paid the single room supplement (or in my case for two people) arrived at the office to board our ship, we were informed we had been moved to a different ship than the Dream, and the route ended in Split, not Dubrovnik, where our return flights were booked. We were first offered a 4-hour car ride from Split to Dubrovnik on the following Friday which meant missing our final cruise day and requiring another night in a hotel. We declined. Finally, two representatives offered a solution. We could be booked on a better ship, but we five would be roomed in just two rooms instead of five singles. When we requested the refund of our single-room supplement, Katarina Lines informed us that we were "well compensated for our inconvenience." We disagree. Four of us are in our sixties (or seventies), and we paid for private rooms for a reason. At one point, two of the ladies in the triple room were "compensated" by being in a room with the third who was violently ill from a stomach virus. When you book on Katarina, be aware that what you choose and pay for may not be what you get.Show more

Dear Pamela, thank you for your review. Although you have reserved your cruise with a different agency and not Tour radar. The miscommunication in the reservation occurred with the changing the reservation dates for 3 years because of the circumstances with the pandemic. The confirmation and invoice sent to the agency was for the cruise we had you booked on. When boarding we have done all it was possible in that circumstances and provided you with the alternatives and un upgrade to a higher category cruise and higher category vessel in the end.
