Our tours typically attract a diverse range of ages, generally from 20 to 50 years old, but we also welcome more mature and active travellers. Our tours are quite international, and we often have guests from various parts of the world, including Germany. We don't match up solo travellers in private rooms, you would need to choose the dorm share option or the single option.

We do have single options available in either the hostel option or the motel option. You should find all this information on the tour page. There are no meals included in the tour but there is plenty of opportunities to buy food each day and each town we stay in has supermarkets and restaurants etc. We would recommend a reasonable fitness level to get the most out of the tour however where possible we will always offer different levels of walks from an easy walk to a more difficult walk.

We currently have 2 passengers booked on however come departure date I would imagine this tour will be fully booked. We have hostel or motel accommodation available, you can find more information on each accommodation option on the tour page. We don't have breakfast as an add on but there are plenty of opportunities to buy food including breakfast each day.

We have a range of different levels of accommodation. Each town we stay in has restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc. In regards to walking, the tours are quite active in style so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended to get the most out of the tour. Where possible we always try and give different levels of walks from easy walks to more difficult.

The best time to see the Aurora Australis (Southern Lights) in Tasmania is during the winter months from May to September, when the nights are longer and darker. However, the aurora can occur year-round. Whilst we have had guests see an aurora while on tour with us, it is not something that we can guarantee. The only tour we have available in May is our Famous 5 Tour.

We have a few different options. Our base level is dorm share accommodation, we then have private hostel rooms (private room with shared bathrooms) and also motel options (private rooms with private ensuite bathroom).
