    • Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperatorWritten March 2024

Thank you for showing interest in our South African Explorer tour. At the requested stage I still do have space on this tour - up to date I have 7 clients booked on this date and we can take a maximum of 20 clients.

  • S

    Samuel

    Asked on October 21st, 2023

I would like to book this tour but I have two questions: Is there any chance to find a tour which includes Mozambique too? How many nights are we gonna spend in camping?

    • Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperatorWritten October 2023

The tour you looking at is not available for 10 December, but I have the exact same tour departing 26 November if you a bit flexible or 24 December. If you opt to go for the accommodated tour - all nights will be spend in accommodation. We do however have a 14 day tour as well that is called the Kruger and Mozambique tour that includes Mozambique and for this tour we have a 3 December departure that is still available at the requested stage.

  • C

    Caroline

    Asked on June 11th, 2023

How strict is the age limit? I'm 67 now, will be 68 when the trip starts, but have participated in several other overlands in Africa and North America, two in the past two years. What is the role of the cook/courier? Does he/she just set up cook groups who are individually responsible for all the shopping and cooking? Or does he/she actually oversee all the shopping and cooking and participants assist as needed? What is the minimum number of participants? Is this a guaranteed departure?

    Age Range
    Tour Details
    • Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperatorWritten June 2023

You are more than welcome to join us on tour - for client 65 years and older we just ask them to complete a medical questionnaire, but you are more than welcome to join. Our tours are participation tours, so the cook/courier will be in charge of the shopping and cooking they might however need assistance in say for example chopping or preparing food but in terms of cooking and shopping this will be the crew (they work out the menu's.) We require 4 minimum for a departure to proceed and as things stand at the moment the 23 July departure have reached this number and will proceed as planned.

  • B
