Hi Joanna, thank you for taking the time to review your Barcelona weekend. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. We need to point out however, that you received everything as advertised, The package you booked was the “shared dorm” accommodations in hostel, and yes, it included 3 tours/activities as you mentioned - the professionally guided Barcelona walking tour, Flamenco & Tapas evening that includes tapas, sangria, etc., and the sunset coastal boat cruise with live music. You received all of those and that is exactly what is advertised as included in this trip package. The trip is 3 nights and 2.5 days in duration and with 3 tours/activities, it means it’s a rather busy 2 days but we also leave ample free time for exploration on your own, time for visits to sights like Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, other museums, the beach, shopping, etc. The trip is not designed to have you led around for 8-10 hours per day but to have an enjoyable balance between included/guided tour & activities, as well as free and independent time. There are always other people on the trip but these trips do cater to all ages and that can mean solo travelers like yourself but also couples and groups of friends. Some may be sociable people while others may not be interested in meeting and hanging out with solo travelers. And as a tour & activity provider, we don’t control that, and the trips are about experiencing the destination, not necessarily making an atmosphere of facilitating friendships. We of course always hope that our solo traveler customers will meet some like-minded friendly people.during the trip and can share some great memories together. The others on this same as you, were couples who booked the hotel package in private rooms. You were in a hostel dorm (one of the city's top rated properties and located in the heart of the city right on Paseig de Gracia - which is Barcelona's ritziest, highest rent avenue), and a very social hostel, with other travelers you could have made friends with. Breakfast each morning was bundled in for you free of charge (it's normally not included) so not sure how you gave that 1-star especially when you didn't even pay for it. Please note that you missed the first morning’s tour as you didn’t read our repeated emails and messages about the meeting time and place, and the guide was even trying to reach you (and kept the group waiting 10 minutes hoping you were going to show up). We offered to book you in for another tour the next morning but you said it was too early for you (at 9:30am) as you wanted to stay out that night for the pub crawl.
