I am looking for package deals to the octoberfest in Munich

We do have packages available from the Friday, September 18th date you specified and they are currently bookable. We have both hotel packages and hostel packages (for budget or younger travelers) available. As well, we can add extra nights before or after if you're looking to extend your stay.

Could you please advise if there are still spaces available for 2 travellers on this tour?

Yes we still have availability on all dates for this tour. :) As its Oktoberfest though spots are very limited and can sell out at any time so better to book sooner than later.

Is it possible to add an extra night at the accommodation? For example, if booking for sep 28-sep 30th, and our flight would not leave until oct 1, would it be possible to add on an extra night on sept 30th? Or would we have to do that on our own?

It is definitely possible to add any number of nights before or after. Just let us know the dates/how many nights. And are you interested in the private hotel room package or the hostel shared dorm package?

Are entries to the Oktoberfest included in the booking?

Entrance to the Oktoberfest is free and no tickets or reservations are required. If someone wants to add a table reservation to their package it is possible and that would include lunch and 2 large beers. It is quite expensive however and not required

How can I secure a table at one of the beer tents?

While reservations are not required, it is advisable to arrive early, especially on busy days, as tables can fill up quickly.

Went to Oktoberfest on the second weekend of 2017 (this only gave me the option of "Oktoberfest 2018" to review) and it was AMAZING! Honestly this was probably the best weekend of my life. Munich and Oktoberfest was probably the best weekend of my life. We stayed at a nice hostel that was clean (looked new) and stayed with my friends in our room and had a private bathroom. Breakfast overall was good and you could eat as much as you want. Our hostel location was about 10 minutes to the Oktoberfest so it was super easy and great. During the weekend we were offered a beer walking tour of the old town (we had beer included in the tour), and also a trip to the Dachau concentration camp. Two totally different things but were appreciated to see different sides of the city and also to get some history and culture instead of just Oktoberfest. The trip leaders were really friendly and helpful and each day offered to take us to the Oktoberfest in the morning to show us the best beer tents and gave us tips while there from what to eat to some words to the some of the beer songs (the ones you hear non stop). The first day we even had a few beers with our leader which was really fun, and then we left to go on the rides at the festival. One tip - go early to get in line for the tents on Saturday. It gets super busy early and you don't want to wait in line! Would definitely recommend this trip as Munich and Oktoberfest are beautiful and super fun and Euroadventures put together a great trip and great itinerary.Show more

Did Oktoberfest with Euroadventures (second weekend of the festival at the end of September 2017 - though in this review it only gave me the option of "Oktoberfest 2018"). What an experience! Honestly one of the most fun weekends of my life. Munich and the festival can't be put into words. Everything was great about the trip from the accommodations (nice, clean, modern hostel with really easy access to Oktoberfest only about 10 min. to get there), fun offered tours like a beer walking tour of the old town (we had included beer during the tour), to visiting the Dachau concentration camp. Beyond that our trip leaders took us to the Oktoberfest, showed us the best tents, what to eat, what the drinking songs were and even drank a bit with us. We had plenty of free time to enjoy Oktoberfest but also had options to see things in Munich when we wanted. Really a great trip!Show more

  Munich during Oktoberfest is VERY expensive as hotels increase rates by 3-4 times over normal dates so we wanted to make sure you're aware of that.

  Yes you can attend Oktoberfest each day. The festival is open from 10am each day (9am on Saturday and Sunday) until 10pm each night. All of the festival tents accommodate thousands of people (some up to 10,000) and have drink (beer of course), food and feature live bands playing music all day. The tents are free of charge to enter and you can go to any of the ones you want.
  
  And regarding your other question, this is a hotel package based around the Munich Oktoberfest so no tours are included. We do offer several optional tours however (city tour, Dachau memorial tour, Neuschwanstein Castle trip & tour) in case you're interested. As it's a short trip however, most people spend their 2-3 days focused purely on the Oktoberfest and enjoying the festival.

  12 adults on triple sharing basis, so, 4 rooms. 3 star, base category. Oktoberfest is our main priority, we are not looking to explore Munich. We are interested in witnessing the fest parades, reservations in the popular tents, taking the rides, etc. Focus is on the fest itself.

  Are you flexible on dates? We recommend arriving on the Sunday (the 21st) or Monday (the 22nd) as weekends are the absolute peak of the festival and so busy that it's typically impossible to get into a tent without getting to the festival before 8am, or having extremely good luck. Table reservations are not available on a Saturday.
