Honestly this was probably the best weekend of my life. Munich and Oktoberfest was probably the best weekend of my life. We stayed at a nice hostel that was clean (looked new) and stayed with my friends in our room and had a private bathroom. Breakfast overall was good and you could eat as much as you want. Our hostel location was about 10 minutes to the Oktoberfest so it was super easy and great. During the weekend we were offered a beer walking tour of the old town (we had beer included in the tour), and also a trip to the Dachau concentration camp. Two totally different things but were appreciated to see different sides of the city and also to get some history and culture instead of just Oktoberfest. The trip leaders were really friendly and helpful and each day offered to take us to the Oktoberfest in the morning to show us the best beer tents and gave us tips while there from what to eat to some words to the some of the beer songs (the ones you hear non stop). The first day we even had a few beers with our leader which was really fun, and then we left to go on the rides at the festival. One tip - go early to get in line for the tents on Saturday. It gets super busy early and you don't want to wait in line! Would definitely recommend this trip as Munich and Oktoberfest are beautiful and super fun and Euroadventures put together a great trip and great itinerary.Show moreTrip date: September 2017

Asked on September 26th, 2025Transport from Toulouse to Munich for beer festival with accommodation and breakfast and possible visits duration 3 days minimum

Asked on March 8th, 2025How can I secure a table at one of the beer tents?
EuroadventuresOperator•Written March 2025While reservations are not required, it is advisable to arrive early, especially on busy days, as tables can fill up quickly.

Asked on February 22nd, 2025We are a group of 10 people, and would like to know what kind of tour packages you provide, including stay options or day packages? Would be helpful if you could some cost and details of your packages.
EuroadventuresOperator•Written February 2025A few questions: 2 nights - check in on the 20th and check out on the 22nd of September 2025? 10 adults - 5 double/twin rooms? What level of hotel (3-star, 4-star, 5-star)? Is the Oktoberfest your main focus of your 2 days there, or you would like to have some tours or excursions? Do you have an approx. budget per person for this package?

Louis
Traveler•Written February 202512 adults on triple sharing basis, so, 4 rooms. 3 star, base category. Oktoberfest is our main priority, we are not looking to explore Munich. We are interested in witnessing the fest parades, reservations in the popular tents, taking the rides, etc. Focus is on the fest itself.
EuroadventuresOperator•Written February 2025Are you flexible on dates? We recommend arriving on the Sunday (the 21st) or Monday (the 22nd) as weekends are the absolute peak of the festival and so busy that it's typically impossible to get into a tent without getting to the festival before 8am, or having extremely good luck. Table reservations are not available on a Saturday.

Asked on January 13th, 2025Can I book a private room instead of a dorm?
EuroadventuresOperator•Written January 2025Yes, upgrading to a private room is possible depending on availability; let us know if you’d like us to check options.

Asked on November 10th, 2024Does this tour include reservation tickets for the Oktoberfest? If so, which tent are the tickets for?
EuroadventuresOperator•Written November 2024The Oktoberfest itself is free and tickets are not required. It is possible to book a table reservation if you'd be interested (though it is rather expensive - and again, not necessary as you can go to any of the tents and order beer & food at a table).

Asked on September 13th, 2024Are the dates changeable? Do you help with hotel?
EuroadventuresOperator•Written September 2024Our standard packages are 2 nights (including either hostel or private hotel rooms) and start on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. How many nights are you looking for in Munich and also are you interested in the hotel package or hostel package? If hotel package, would it be a triple room and double/twin room (since you are a group of 5 people)? Also, is everybody adults or are there any children?
- G
Graham
Traveler•Written September 2024We are all adults. If there is a triple, is it less expensive? We are all over 60 and will definitely NOT want to be in a hostel. We would be arriving Wed, Oct 1. We want to do the festival on Thurs, Neust Castle on Fri, and leave Sat.
EuroadventuresOperator•Written September 2024Yes, a triple generally can be just a bit cheaper per person. So you'd be interested in one triple room only, or there are 5 of you in total so one triple, and one twin/double? It is possible to offer a 3 night package from Wednesday to Saturday that also includes a trip and tour to Neuschwanstein castle on that Friday. Lastly, what type of hotel level are you interested in (3-star, 4-star, etc)?

EuroadventuresOperator•Written August 2024Our standard package is the 2 nights that you see but we can definitely make a 4 or even 5 night package. What dates do you want, and also is it for hostel or hotel package (private room)?

Asked on July 6th, 2024Is early booking recommended for Oktoberfest?
EuroadventuresOperator•Written July 2024Yes, Oktoberfest is very popular, so it's best to book your trip well in advance.
