Itinerary
- Day 1
Luang Prabang
You'll arrive in Luang Prabang and check into your hotel in the city center. After settling in, head to the National Museum housed in the former Royal Palace to get some historical context. From there, make your way to Wat Mai, then tackle the climb up Mount Phousi where you'll find the golden stupa at the top and catch sunset views looking out over the city and the Mekong River below. Finish the day by walking through the Night Market browsing handmade textiles and local crafts.

- Day 2
Luang Prabang
Start early for an upstream cruise on the Mekong River through quiet countryside areas. You'll stop at the Pak Ou Caves, which contain thousands of Buddha images in various sizes and conditions. Later, visit Ban Muangkeo village to see how local rice wine gets produced, then continue to Ban Xiengmene. After that, climb up to Wat Chomphet for views back across the river toward Luang Prabang. On the return journey, stop by Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek villages where you can see silk weaving and traditional Saa papermaking techniques in action.

- Day 3
Luang Prabang
Following breakfast, you'll head out to Ban Long Lao to visit the Khmu ethnic village of Ban Longlao Nung and the Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song, spending time observing how these different minority groups go about their daily lives. Next comes a 40-minute tour of the Buffalo Dairy Farm where you'll help feed and wash the buffalo, watch a milking demonstration, and interact with chickens and rabbits. Later in the day, drive to Kuang Si Waterfall where you can either swim in the turquoise pools or take forest paths to explore the area. On the way back, stop at Wat Phabath to catch the sunset before heading to your accommodation.

Luang Prabang
If you have time after breakfast, pop over to Phosi Market to check out local foodstuffs, hill-tribe textiles, and various handicrafts including some distinctive items like dried buffalo skin. Then it's time to head to the airport for your departure flight.
