Is it possible to get more information on the accommodation please

We believe solo travellers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travellers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip. Accommodation includes hotels (13 nts), desert camps (1nt, Bedouin-style camp). If you have booked the "My Own Room" option, you will receive your own single room for all night stops. On this trip you can expect to stay in small local hotels or pensions, which will vary a little in standard and facilities: some may not have elevators, air-conditioning or English-speaking staff, but all are locally-run and in excellent central locations to give you maximum time for exploring the sights.

Is airfare included? And is this an all inclusive tour?

International airfare is not included in the costs online. Your accommodation, tour guide and some meals are included.

Can you please advise if it is possible to be paired to share the room with a fellow traveller (same gender) on the tour?

You can share your accommodations with another traveller of the same gender who is on the tour! If you will be travelling together, we can link your bookings together as long as you both advise us of your consent to do so.

What is the solo traveler charge? And what is the smallest number in a group that you will still take?

At G Adventures, all our departures are guaranteed, regardless of group size. We would also never charge a mandatory single supplement just because you're travelling solo! You will be roomed with another solo traveller of the same gender in the group instead. If you would prefer not to share, you can upgrade to the optional single supplement. Please add My Own Room when booking, which would cost an additional $1519.00 on top of the tour price, depending on your departure date.

Can hotel be custom selected? If not please send list of hotels included. Do you arrange for private groups and what would the price be for the 14 day Israel/Jordan tour?

We do not allow customization of our trips, as these are small group tours where you are travelling with up to 15 others in total. Is there a way I can join a trip on January 7th?

We advise arriving on the 6th January as the group will depart quite early on the 7th for activities visiting Jerash and the Dead Sea. They will return to Amman that evening where you could meet with the group but you would have missed out on a full day with the tour.

Is a single supplement charged?

All G Adventures tours are based on shared occupancy. If you would like to upgrade to an optional single supplement, you can expect an additional My Own Room - From $2059.00 AUD in addition to the base tour cost.

I am looking at this tour and need some info asap as my agent is waiting to book flights. Looking at dates, we would be arriving in Tel Aviv on the 9th and start on Friday 10th which would allow us to visit the Hall of the last supper and Davids tomb. Would we also visit Dad Vasham and the Holocaust Museum? There are three couples, all adults travelling. Could you please advise the best price, the availability and confirmation on maximum of fifteen people. Also, what would it cost if it were only the 6 of us please. How much is the food component likely to cost please?

This starts in Jordan, so it would be Amman that you would fly into. The tour ends in Israel, snd you'll have time in Tel Aviv to visit these sites. For the date: Fri, 10 Mar - Fri, 24 Mar, the tour is $5199 per person and we do have 6 spots available. The group maximum size is 15, so there may be others on this tour alongside yourself. Please allow USD380-495 for meals not included, per person.

Is there a single supplement for a solo traveler for this tour? I would like my own accommodations.

We do offer Single Supplement on this tour, and it's an extra $1519. If you booked the "My Own Room" option, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Nights 5 and 12, Bedouin camp.

There were several shortcomings during the Israel portion, i.e., the market tour being stops at several snack type stands and samples rather than a tour of the market and feeling rushed through the highlights in Israel rather than being able to spend time at several high profile sights, that prevent me from ranking it as an overall five star trip. That said. GO ON THIS TRIP!!!!!! In spite of my experience, it was one of the most memorable travel experiences I've ever had.Show more

After waiting two years through Covid, I finally got to take this trip and it was worth the wait! I didn’t know what to expect, but any expectations were exceeded! Jordan is a beautiful country w lots of neat sights. Not just Petra, but Petra was amazing! It was great to see all the biblical sites in Israel and our guides for both countries were very knowledgeable and personable. This was my first tour w gadventures and I’ll use them again! Small groups, nice itinerary. The single supplement was higher than any other trip I’ve ever taken, but I will pay it next time just to have privacy at night. Highly recommend this trip!Show more

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 24th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 24th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
