Only two others on my tour, so we ended up getting the VIP treatment. Transport on tour days was in a smaller vehicle or private minibuses, with just us three, our guide, and the driver. All three of our guides in each country were knowledgeable, and had a passion for their countries, and knew all the shortcuts through the sights! With regards to how the tour operates, they organise and pay for your accomodation, the daily guided tours, and transport to any organised events. There are times when the tour group is unsupervised, eg: on free days, and when travelling between countries, which may be disconcerting for inexperienced travellers. Tour seemed unorganized and itenerary was not very clear or labeled which made it hard to plan out free days. You could easily have organized and arranged this yourself and saved a lot of money, essentially the tour is just giving you below average transportation from one spot to the next. Below is detailed review for all locations we visited. Vietnam: All that is included Day 1 is a ride to your hotel from the airport. Average hotel, breakfast included. Vietnam guide and itenerary were actually very good the following 2 days. Cambodia: “Day 4” was just a long bus ride on an out of date vehicle. The interary was very vague, no mention of how long the ride is, what time we would arrive, so we had no opportunity to prepare whatsoever. Good luck asking any simple questions as the guides spoke 0 English whatsoever. No meals were included. No mention or notice to make sure you grab cash was given. The border crossing was dodgy and took over 1.5 hours. Day 7: sit around and wait to catch a 4pm flight from Cambodia to Laos. At all times Hoi An Express transportation was on time, we were met with smiles. 1. You can replace into flight by surcharge. 2. You will have bedrooms/ toilets at the bus stops, foods can be bought in bus stops as well. 3. I am afraid that we can not add to Mondulkiri elephant. Because it is quite far from Siem Reap and this tour is not available. 4. If you book this tour on that day (2 August, 2024), you would need to pay double to operate the tour, because up to now, no one has signed with this tour on that day and our tours reuqire minimum of 2 pax to operate.
