From start to finish, every aspect of our trip was flawlessly executed, leaving us with unforgettable memories. One of the highlights of our experience was the impeccable coordination of all transfers, including trains, planes, and buses.   Okay tour overall, the cabins were spacious and comfy. Good air con and working shower with hot water. We found the itinerary quite disappointing though, we spent too much time on the boat doing nothing and our trip on the day boat was badly organised. The staff on the day boat didn’t introduce themselves or really tell us anything about Ha Long Bay, actually they slept for a lot of the day. Food was yummy and you get plenty of it but it’s repetitive and we didn’t enjoy eating rice, noodles and seafood at 10:30am on the last day!! Would have preferred an option for eggs on toast or something similar. The staff on the cruise ship were friendly and helpful but we were surprised with how little English they spoke on a tourist cruise ship, however, of course we understand that we are in Vietnam!! I probably wouldn’t recommend Starlight to others.Show more

However, we are sorry to hear that you found the itinerary disappointing and the trip on the day boat badly organised. We take these concerns seriously and will work to improve the organisation and communication on the day boat to ensure our guests have an enjoyable and informative experience. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the food, but we apologize for the repetitive options and the timing of meals that did not meet your expectations. We understand that our guests have different preferences and we will consider adding more variety and options to our menus in the future. We appreciate your feedback regarding the language skills of our staff. While we do our best to ensure our staff has a good command of English, we understand that there is always room for improvement, and we will work on this aspect to ensure that our guests have a better experience.
